iPhones are just like anything else. Shit just fails - Home button sticks, power button just dies, so do the side buttons along with the vibrate switch.
I'm still more of an android phone kinda guy. It just seems like a iPhone is a amazing gadget that does cool shit, but Android is all business.

^^^ true. I think if you like apple and everything is apple based, the iphone is a way to go cuz the platform speaks to everything. I am about thru with microsoft for my computer and thinking about jumping into MACs and if I do that, I think I should just go all the way hahaha

There is no way I can rely on Mac for all my computer needs. There is still too much incompatibility. If I ran a Mac I would run dual systems, Windows and OSxx. . .
I like Mac shit though. I mean there is no way anyone else for a long time will keep up with their graphics, Apps & Mobile games.

I love this discussion and I have it frequently. I find frequently that the emotions of Apple fans get in the way, however a colleague of mine who works in the field of intelligence collection via electronics put it like this:
"I love Macs. I use one at home every day. When I want to relax and have fun, I use my Mac...it doesn't make me think and makes everything easy and pretty looking. But, when it's time to do business and get work the Mac goes away and my PC comes out."
Steve Wozniak, co-founder of Apple said this:
"The people I recommend the iPhone 4S for are the ones who are already in the Mac world, because it’s so compatible, and people who are just scared of computers altogether and don’t want to use them. The iPhone is the least frightening thing."
If you're the type of person that doesn't want to jump in and learn things about your device, then by all means go with the Apple products. They have great industrial design and the software makes things dumb-proof for most people.
If you're the type of person who requires greater degrees of flexibility, customization, and are a "power user", thus needing your phone to perform many task specific functions, I'd say go with an Android device.
In the interest of full disclosure I've owned many Android devices included the G1, and I also spent about a year with an iPhone 3G. I right now have a HTC One X (GSM quad-core variant)

If you ever need any iPhone info I have it. I been close to development level of most unlocking & jailbreaking of these things. But, it does get old. Android is so much more mod friendly. With simple code changes I can get just about any android phone to do the coolest shit.
What you need? GSM, cdma, 2g or 4s? At my peak time I was pushing a dozen a week. Lol

I had the iPhone, but I traded it in when I discovered the Samsung Galaxy S II (AT&T's version) it far surpasses iPhone in several aspects. All my iPhone's were notorious for short battery life & getting extremely hot after more than 10 minutes of continuous use.

Had an iPhone for Sprint. I went from the EVO to the iPhone then got rid of it for the EVO 3d. So much better imo besides battery life.

I've got the S1.. bought it right before the S2 was released... love the phone! never had any problems in over a year, best phone I've ever owned and I've had alot. The S3 sounds awesome! Will definitely get it after the bugs are worked out.

iPhone 5 due out this September or October, and it's going to be available world-wide. You will be able to use any carrier. Looks badass too.
