when I was 17 my mom took in a family friend whose parents left her she was 16, we became close friends a then started sleeping together! about 3 months into this relationship I found out she was addicted to heroin!! so as I'm trying to deal with that a couple weeks later, I noticed a pattern of her coming and going and always meeting and getting dropped off by other guys!! so I was like WTF!?! Dont ever plan on getting married then, it's just a legal form of prostitution. Ask most anyone who is married what would happen if they did not pay/buy them things. No money no honey. Most women/wives are pretty open about this and make it clear they will not put out unless they are getting something $$$$ out of it. I know many guys in that position. I have been LUCKY and not had it happen to me but I have also make it very clear from the beginning that if those kind of games are ever played it will be a SHORT lived relationship.
You would be surprised how long some of these people can make it. I have an ex childhood friend who got into drugs doing most everything from coke, meth, heroin starting at age 13 when she ran away for the first time. She is 50 now and still kicking. I have no idea how she has survived because she has never cleaned up.
