Loosing .5iu per 10iu/1ml draw..
If it were pennies and iu I would not care about .5iu, but its gh and it costs a lot of money. I don't know why the hell I cant get that last .5iu out of my draw, I put 1ml in and no matter what I do I cant get a full 1ml back. I put extra air in to pressurize the vial, I make sure the tip of needle is at the very bottom of the other end of the rubber...what am i doing wrong?

If it's the last just take the top off and draw it out. It's not exposed long enough to contaminate it unless you are standing in a germ infested wind storm at the time. lol No difference than opening an amp.

NP, sometimes it's hard to think outside the box when the answer is staring you right in the face, obvious. That's what we are here for to share and bounce ideas off each-other, right?
I had a great idea once before but it died of loneliness. LOL

What do you guys do for regular non-gh injections? I've never tried the extra air method because the idea always made me nervous, but I'm tired of losing the 0.10 or so that's left in the hub after each injection. Any suggestions or better explanation of using extra air would be greatly appreciated.

Yeah I could see doing that with a subcutaneous injection with a slin syringe, but it's hard to pull that small of an amount out of a larger syringe..plus a lot of times after IM injections there will be a bit of blood flashback and I'd rather just get it all in the first time if possible.

You know you could also just use a long 21g that will reach the bottom of the vial
