I don't get it. I just seen him at the hoot and holler the other night doing the bump and grind.
but seriously, i remember the day he died. my neighbor came over with his wife, visibly shook up.
"The King just died...."
I love Elvis. I have been to Graceland twice. Once in the summer and another time in the winter to see the Christmas lights.

Thats alright mama, that's alright with me...
This is one of the best Elvis covers I've heard.
Never got into Elvis much he's good, I just liked Johnny cash more, related more to him
I typically don't listen to either. Once you hear a song a zillion times, you kinda stop listening to it, same with Led Zeppelin. But I respect their talent and their work.
Most of you can't really appreciate the Beatles. Back in the day, people would completely go nutts over the beatles. The world really hadn't seen anything like it at the time (normally sane and rational people doing totally weird/warped shiit just to catch a glimpse of the beetles), and hasn't since.
There were instances of the Beatles walking on the grass to a motel. the crowds ripped up the grass and kept it. the laundrey at the motels that they slept in were stolen, and cut up, and sold for big $$. Marriage proposals were continuous and non stop. going to see the beatles in concert was a dicey thing. tickets were very hard to get, and people would wait in line for days on the outside chance that hopefully they could score some tickets. People were desperate. People would panic. There were suicides. Some were saying that the beatles were much more popular than Jesus Christ himself.
They didn't call it "BeatleMania" for nothing.
