Thank you guys, and girls. Appreciate the love and encouraging words. Thanks for the messages and texts too, it means a lot.

Dan has to go in for a PET scan on Xmas eve. He went in to the oncologist yesterday and they told him he has a 2 inch tumor in his chest. Last time it spread all over his chest and stomach. He had 2 rounds of chemo, radiation and a few surgeries. He's so worried about everyone else and keep apologizing. Breaks my heart. My father is going down to FL and will spend Xmas with him, which I'm really thankful for.

    Fvck cancer man..

Thank you, AG, appreciate it and tell the Mrs. I'm grateful for the prayers, thanks brother.

Talked to Dan today and he seems like he's finding acceptance and gearing up to fight. I swear I'd do anything to fight it for him.

I'm very sorry to hear about your brother, Dan's cancer returning. Everything is treatable these days, and Dans young. So try not to be discouraged. My family and I will keep Dan and all your family in our prayers. There's a bible verse that's gotten me through some tough times, and I like it a lot; "I can do all things, through Christ who strengthens me" Philippians 4:3.

And to all the others who have mentioned someone close that has had cancer, I truly hope they were able to overcome this awful thing.

My brother found out today that he has to go in next week so they can extract marrow. Same as last time. This is basically a huge needle they have to hammer into his spine to get marrow to test.

The hope is that they do not find cancer in the marrow. If they do, that means he is in stage 4. Last time they didn't find any in the marrow but he was stage 3b. Close to 4.

Thanks Drew, I appreciate that man. He is a great dude and it kills me it's happening to him again. All I can say is fvck cancer. If that shit wants a rematch, he's going to have to kick its ass again.

My brothers whore ass insurance is dicking him around and I want to strangle somebody.

They keep cancelling his marrow extraction on him and now they're saying that the docs practice is covered under their network but the doc himself isn't? What the fvck is that fvcking sh*t?

He had that cancelled today again. Got his PET scan results back and it's not good. There are 3 lymph nodes that are in the "red zone" and are spreading again to around his chest and stomach. They need to do the marrow extraction to rule out stage 4 and they're fvcking dicking around. Give him the fvcking procedure and then figure that sh*t out. I swear to Christ, wtf is wrong with those fvcking crooked bastards? On top of that, his insurance isn't paying for anesthesia for his marrow extraction. I'm going to pay for that out of my own pocket.

They haven't even done his biopsy yet. Scheduled for tomorrow and hopefully something doesn't happen where it gets cancelled. He's scared to death. They have to put him under for the biopsy tomorrow, where they're going to go down his throat, and they need to puncture through one of his lungs to get to the tumors.

I'm flipping the fvck out and feel completely helpless.

You'd think so but its all a business here, and it's truly sad. It kills me to hear the fear in his voice and all I want to do is take it from him.

Really appreciate the support guys. It really helps. I know I can express frustration and come here to bitch and that's important. I'm otherwise trying to be strong on the outside and it's tough without an outlet like this.

That sucks man, sorry to hear about your brother going through this again.

Yeah I think most all of us have or do know someone going through cancer. Mon died a few years back from Pancriatic cancer. I have a friend who has been battleing MDS the last couple of years only to find out recently it's really Primary Myelofibrosis. She has had to have several Bone Marrow draws. Not anything I would ever want to do.

Best of luck to your brother and his speedy recovery. If you/he hasnt yet look into detoxification. It's supposed to help a lot with Chemo recovery and even without chemo battling cancer.

In addition to chemo, they're now planning on some aggressive radiation which is going to be so hard for him.

I'm a damn wreck, and I just can't believe this is happening to him. Whatever your religion, or whatever, throw him a prayer or positive thought. He's such a good kid.

    Thanks,

cannabis... dont underestimate it.... it kills the cancer. and iv seen research showing cannabis with chemo to be more productive than chemo alone. actually if i could only pick one i would pick cannabis.
extracts taken orally and vaped IMO
people really underestimate cannabis because i think they think its impossible for a plant to do soo much, specially with the stigma towards it in many places. it could very well be what saves his life. my thoughts are with you and him.

When I did breast cancer research, we were using that (immunotherapy) for treatments. We were making vaccines with the patients cells. I do miss that job from time to time
