    Movie Reviews...

Lots of caveats on this group:

Witness Protection - More of the same, only mildly funny. I never realized how poor an actress Denise Richards was until now, I can only attribute my epiphany to her playing an older role as Eugene Levy's younger wife. When you take away the sexy outfits and swimsuits, it's really hard to watch her at all. Unless you just love this line of movies, pass on it.

Magic Mike - Come on, even an avid movie goer like me draws the line a male stripping...pass.

Seeking a Friend for the End of the World - This was A VERY GOOD FILM. It won't get the praise and notoriety of blockbusters, but Steve Carell and Keira Knightley were brilliant, the storyline was well developed, and there were a host of big stars who played minor roles...the ending is great!

Abraham Lincoln Vampire Slayer - Wow! Abe was the man, he would have been an able (couldn't resist) sidekick for Blade. The story moves at a solid pace, and although it paints the South in an evil vampiric light, along with some blatant historical inaccuracies, it's a good vampire flick that's worthy of its lineage.

Prometheus - This was pretty good film if you're into the SciFi the genre, there were some script oversights and they could done a better job explaining some things for example how this hand-picked group never met prior to de-thawing (so to speak), or how surveyors/navigators (with their equipment) could possibly have gotten lost down there. Nevertheless it's enjoyable, and served as an adequate prequel to the legendary 'Aliens'.

That's My Boy - It was good, and keeps you entertained. I was looking to crack up for two full hours, maybe I expected a little to much...it's typical Adam Sandler though, you'll laugh hard at times, and Ice was great!

Snow White and the Huntsman - Thor, Charlize, and Kristen Stewart with plenty of special effects...it's a no brainer! If you're up for fairly tales, this one has solid action, suspense and marvel.

MIB 3 - I heard good reviews from a couple of trusted movie-goers, but it left me wanting. It was slow, and the antagonist was pretty disgusting. I'm a huge fan of its predecessors, and although it had some good scenes and a couple of interesting concepts, I was underwhelmed.

Ted - Saved the best for last. This may have been the funniest movie I have ever seen and that's saying a whole lot! It was crazy funny from start to finish, very well made, and the dialogue and between character banter was both humorous and intellectual. I was expecting a borderline too rude and possibly overly raunchy movie, but as always Wahlberg delivers a tasteful and tactful gem of film, and of course the eye candy in this one is primo! No caveats here other than you'll need to love laughing, and come expecting to do so...SEE THIS ONE, or be left out!!!
