    Stupidest things Haters have said???

OK so I started out as an ectomorph kid. I was about 6" tall and 125 lbs. that was about 10 years ago... I didn't know anything about how to eat or workout but I knew I wanted to make a change... So I worked hard for a year and gained about 5lbs. I was thoroughly disappointed to say the least. so for the next few years I halfheartedly stayed in the gym still with minimum gains. Until a guy who i went to school with transferred to my dept. at work. In school he was as skinny as me and now he was in shape to say the least. So I started asking questions and taking notes about how to eat and how to work out. When I applied this new diet and workout I started seeing results! So Just like we all do when we start noticing a good change in our body's I felt more confident to talk openly about my workout or stuff that happened at the gym.. One day one of my other co-workers overheard one of my gym convo's and his response was "you going to the gym?.... huh... cant tell..." now if this was coming from a gym vet i would have prolly felt a lil bad about it. But this guy was about 40% bf and smoked about 2 packs a day... but i did use it as mental bulletin board material. And haven't looked back... now I'm 30, 185 lbs, and about 12% bf and guess what that hater is still fat and miserable.... moral of the story: Haters gonna Hate, be true to yourself. and use negative comments for bulletin board material...

Anyone else have any stupid Hater remarks to share?

You think that is bad, I had someone say long time ago I looked like I USE to work out. He was right though, it had been a long time. To bad it didnt motivate me enough at the time to get into it like I should but thats a whole different story.

One of the best compliments I got was when someone asked me (more than 1 person more than once) if I was taking steroids when I wasnt and never had.

Similar story a bloke that smokes and drinks and looks like absolute shit told me he could be massive if he wanted to be......good one dick head, frustrating as fk to hear that given all the dedication you put in, some people just have no idea, it just seemed like an attempt to make my achievements seem like fk all,

On a positive note I've been asked if I compete twice in the last couple of weeks, and also asked if I have considered stripping for hens nights ect.. It feels good when you get some positive feedback from people

Nice, that much feel good. When I was in Philippines I had many people asking me if I trained MMA. Of course I said sometimes but not professionally.

You should have told the fact fvck you could be a fat slob like him if you wanted also... Then when he gets pissed off; hopefully in front of a group of friends you challenge him to a $1000 bet. Give him 1 year (in writing) to get into or even near the shape you are in.

so true! i don't think I was meant to be overweight until life thru me a series of "curve balls" year, after year after year....for 9 consecutive years. Accidents, surgeries, stressful job, grad school, working full time, no time for me....blah blah blah. I recently lost 40 pounds (cuz of the support and guidance on this site) so I had to replace my entire waredrobe. Just a few weeks back, a gal called me EYE CANDY during a meeting of 20 people, both men and women. I was thinking HOW RUDE and INAPPROPRIATE for a professional setting. She is my height and I am guessing 300 pounds, 5 years my senior and miserable with her situation.

My conclusion: people who unhappy, lack confidence, not accomplished are JEALOUS AND HATE....oh, and some are also out of shape, put little effort in to appearance and generally have a crappy disposition on life and say they like their life! BLAHAHAHAHAHAH

yes people will hate, now i dont know you are know how you are. So i may be completely off. But you say you are alot more open about talking about working out and your diet. Maybe he was just giving you a reality check. If your talking about it alot maybe its getting old and you sound to others like you think your a pro. Like i said i may be wrong and just playing devils advocate. I dont think i ever talk about working out or dieting.
But you see it with everything. I've been out with a bunch of people on bikes. And you hear some guy talking alot. and if you didnt know him you think he just stepped off the race track. He is 1 sponsor away from being pro. But if you ride with him he is average at best. And sometimes you have to call him out for a reality check
If people can't tell your on steroids then your doing them wrong

Absolutely, some ppl are full of sheet, they are real good at giving advise. there is this guy at the gym thinks he knows everything, k buddy how come I'm 5 yrs older and look twice as good? knowing and doing are two different things. Without trying to sound egocentric I inspire ppl all around me by example, its not my goal it just happens. I even have ppl on my crew at work eating better, on their own accord of course.

    Stupidest things haters say:
    "Haters gonna hate"
    "---- haterade"

Had to get those out of the way..those sayings drive me nuts..

Let em hate. It's their roundabout way of voicing their insecurity. If they're "hatin" they're jealous. It used to make me angry but now I just feel bad for them. They are so unhappy with their inferior appearance or shitty lives that they have try to bring others down.

Wow, sound a lot like my life except I haven't been called eye candy. lol You know it is sort of a compliment but not a very professional or complementary really. Maybe she has a crush on you?

Yeah it's funny how life can screw with you. About 1 1/2 years ago I was FINALLY in the best shape of my life maybe and then I had a detached retina. After surgery I had to walk, sleep and live with my face down, facing the ground 24/7 for 3 months. I could not drive, I had to sleep on a massage table with my face in the hole looking at the ground, I bought a 25" plasma TV with cables hooked up to my cable boxes so I could watch TV with the family looking at the ground. I was not even allowed to do treadmill. Then I had to have a 2nd eye surgery due to complication, my shoulder tweaked in-between the two surgeries sometime, I had to take care of my mom until she passed last Sept had my shoulder surgery and taking care of the probate stuff in-between. LOL Yeah life sucks sometimes but you/we have to keep on trying. It will probably take me another year+ but I will get back to where I was.

I'm looking forward to some of those sideways complements again. lol

IMHO if someone ASKS then I go lightly and answer only their questions. i used to offer info, but it isn't worth it...comes across wrong even if intent is good.

Maaan, you don't need that shit to look like this. It's all hard work and a solid diet. . . . Coming from a guy who slipped up and said he got juiced quite a bit before.
