I cant believe im going to answer a question on birth control. Lol.. If i can remember when the wife use to take it, it was just a crap shoot. Different types for different people. You try one and go from there. There are different ones that suit different meds they may be on or if the have other woman issues. Etc etc. her doctor will explain all of it to her.

The wife is currently using the nuva ring. Seems to work well with her. But it can be felt during sex so I'm not the biggest fan.

Well, combination pills (estrogen + progesterone) are the most effective, so try that first. But they tend to get more side effects from those (mostly bloat/weight gain), so it's a lot of trial and error. Just have her try whichever combo pill is cheapest first, and work your way out from there if need be.

My wife had the implant in her arm, lasts 3 years. But we took it out 1 year early and had a baby, made her regular( the implant that is ) when my daughter was 6 months I got a vasectomy

Bayer is under quite a bit of lawsuit heat right now over those 2. Something about an increased risk of pulmonary embolism, stroke, and deep vein thrombosis, along with shady manufacturing quality control...

Yeah what brohim says, it sucks big time, depending on the girl might never recover right either, but from what I know most get it back after a while. Its similar to us taking a shitty dose of test i believe, but the functions aren't exactly the same.

Everyone responds differently. My girlfriend was on the pill when we started going out and got pregnant right away. She's on the patch (not sure the brand) and not even a scare since my son was born.

ugly works pretty good too. woman wouldn't touch me for the first four years of our marriage. finally, she worked up the nerve to go to bed with me, and then she was finally able to get preggers! =)
