    Fugged my back up!!

Just thought I would vent a bit. Im about 1.5 weeks into 2nd cycle and messed my back up on sat. I have been struggling with my back for a couple years now. I have a couple of vertabrae with compression fractures, and think its all coming back to haunt me as I age. Past couple years my lower back just hasnt been able to hold up. When sparring or wrestling I end up limping around for a couple days, so I recently stopped all that and am focused on strength/cond 100%. Also if I wakeboard or snowboard I am limping around with sore back for couple days... Well sat I was lifting and just picking some dumbells of rack and felt it go. The pain is insane, takes ten minutes to roll out of bed. So yesterday I wnet to my first chiro session ever. They xrayed, etc did a bunch of tests, then stretched and crunched me all over. went through a traction session and they hooked electric pads up to my muscles and shocked me for a while(said its very popular with russian olympic guys, etc). Hopefully this helps, its time I dealt with it instead of ignoring and working around. They said one of my lower back muscles is WAY overdeveloped compared to the other. The good thing is that they told me to not stop wroking out, keep doing what Im doing. And they said I need to stretch alot more. I have beat my body up over the years, multiple broken bones etc, and at 33 I guess I need to rethink my training as my body is not allowing me to grunt it out as I used to. They told me due to all of my injuries I have to continue working out and stretching for the rest of my life, if I slow down I will start degrading rapidly.... Guess Im in it for the long haul!!

Sucks bro sorry to hear it. I'm with you, cracked a vertebrae in HS football and struggled off and on for many years thereafter. I've been problem free for about 5 years now but it took an incredible amount of focus on building my core, as well as continuous stretches and exercise. It is very frustrating though - hang in there. Give yourself a few days rest and hopefully it's nothing major. Are you going to continues your cycle or start pct?

shit, i don't even think i was hitting my prime at 33 yet for most things.

but i was a runner, and it was game over for me by about age 21. yeah, i could still run, but no longer competitive.

aging sucks. you may consider TB500 sold by AR-R. it's a healing pep, and a cycle is 6 weeks, 10mg/week, pinned daily.

    just a thought....

Thanks man. I am going to continue cycle. I am going to try to work around it. Walking and stretching today then get at it tomorrow. I am going to do 2 a week therapy with chiro and they are trying to get massage covered under my insurance as well. I guess it can be covered if deemed medically necesary, and with my vertabrae and lower back issues they think it will fly, we will see. I feel alot better today. I can work with the pain now that I know i am not doing further damage.

TR, yeah I hear ya man, I still feel great overall, its just my back. I felt I was in my prime all around from like 25-30 as far as fighting goes, I could train double sessions, back to back comps, etc with no issues, other than breaks/bruises healing( I broke three ribs and a toe in two dif matches and finished matches with breaks) no prob, heal up and keep going. But past couple years my back has been holding me back(no pun int). It seems to stem back to when I was 18 and compressed 2 verts. I will definately look into the pep, dont know anything about them yet, thanks.
