Going in today to get fixed(vasectomy). Any word of wisdom or advice? I just remember the look in the dog's eyes as a drug him through the vets office. I bet he laughs his ass ( tail) off today. He said a one hr procedure with a local. I think that means a shot in the scrotum. Ahhh

Dont go out jet skiing right away like I did. Then again mine was more extensive. I also have a spermatocele removed so they had to cut the sack from front to back and take EVERYTHING out. It still wasnt bad. I was out jet skiing less than 2 weeks but then I also broke 3 stitches and had white fatty tissue pushing out. LOL

Funny you mention dog. This is a true story. When we had our dog fixed we drove home from vet and as soon as he got home he went straight to my bedroom and shit on my bed. Guess he was not happy.

imho, the pain will let you know. this is not a hernia operation, and nothing will "pop" when you bear down. probably 48 hours you should be able to start back lightly.

It sounds like dogs enjoy seeking retribution for getting fixed. Know a guy who as soon as he got home from the doc, his dog ran up and jumped into his lap. Wasn't a little dog either, full grown american bd.

Tr is right. Its just the pain you will be dealing with. I got a buddy who was 90% back to normal in a week and another was still crying after 2. Hope it goes well

I hear it's like getting kicked in the nutz. No fun but with some opioids it helps like you said. And i'd hold off a a little longer than 48 hours on working out, unless you are one hardcore guy. But it's your call and like TR said your body will let you know.

Its funny. The first consultation after seeing me and feeling my nuts the doctor was like have you ever used steroids. No I say. And he's like you would be sterile any way and looked at me. Of course I should have left well enough alone but I had to explain that you can get pregnant while on. He just looked dumbfounded.

Honestly, I'm not surprised. I was speaking to an endocrinologist last year who knew I was cycling. He asked what I was using and I told him. He said he had no idea what any of it was. Wow.....just, wow.

if you think this was rough, you should try the reversal, now that was some swelling goin on then..

the 2nd vasectomy was not as bad as the 1st..

just keep that in mind..

and you can get her prego 3 months after the procedure so make sure you go back and toss off in the cup to be sure..

Dude. You didnt finish the thread. What did the Dr say? Why the discoloration and swelling? How are they now? Im icing for 6 hr 20min on 20 min off. There is some discomfort even with the oxycodone. But I self prescribed a sierra nevada to wash it down with and got a great 3 hr nap. What in the world happened with yours?

remember, during the week following the healing process, a minimum of once a day ejaculation is required to prevent things from clotting up. However, this process needs to be VERY gentle, so no pulling by hand, and definately NO exertion by yourself. Your woman should be very sypmathetic and gratefully provide the oral services you need.
