who here is into the outdoors?

Well I am huge into the outdoors just wondering who else enjoys it.

I love to hunt and fish. I also enjoy camping and trail riding(horses).

I was wondering who else enjoys the outdoors whether it be hiking, kayaking, hunting, etc. Maybe share a memorable moment?

Mine would be when I went mt.lion hunting, it was very physically intense, we chased a large tom mt.lion through deep snow up rocky embankments then down again before the hounds finally treed him. It was 5 hours of hell and probably the 2nd most rewarding hunt next to my last elk hunt with my dad.

300 miles? that sounds intense. I really like camping and now having a family to come along with is even better.

I have that, I prefer riding with one or two buddies myself off the beaten path. I don't think I would like that many people in one place.

I ride with a handful of blokes, but no issues with the party there. You should do the rally at least once in a life time. Plus the chics are naked!

I don't know seems unnatural for that many people to be in once place lol. We normally go to some of the smaller rallies and I really enjoy enjoy rally with alot of vintage iron. Right now I am working on buttoning up a 56 panhead for a buddy. For me its all about the shovelhead.

I love the outdoors. Snowboarding, boating, mountain bikeing, motorcycling(I have a rice rocket), fishing, etc. Love all of it. I dont hunt because im a softy and dont like killing animals(no offense to those that do more power to you) but I am a shooting enthusiast and love to go to the range and shot skeet. I enjoy wildlife photography so I hunt them that way, same thing really only I click a pick, no thrill of the kill, lol. ANyway yeah I love the outdoors and all that comes along with it!!!

Never hunted rabbits with hounds before but it looks like a hell of a good time we normally kick a few out when we are grouse or pheasant hunting, we normally bare boil them then give them a panko breading and pan fry them up

I hunt coyotes as well and we got some nice skins this far north. I cant wait till my son is old enough to hunt. He comes along on some hunts and I let him take part as much as he can.

He killed his first deer at 11, he hasn't had much luck at coyotes. But he loves him some frog gigging. He had rather do that than anything.

Got into hiking about a year ago and really enjoy it. I'm currently about an hour away from the Appalachian Mountains but will be moving to a valley pretty much right there in the foot hills in a few weeks.

Did some backcountry camping in the Cherokee National Forrest back in April. Good times with some good buds, unreal hiking with crazy waterfalls and jumped off a bridge on the way into camp haha.

Love the outdoors. Camping, kayaking, biking, you name it. The outdoors can be really calming but I also love intensity outdoors can bring with dirt biking, mc trips, jet skiing, snowboarding, etc. Its why we live in MN, all the seasons for a variety of outdoors activities!

I love to go hiking/camping in the Boundary Waters. But every time I go, it looks like it's being less cared for than the time before.

I also love bass fishing in Lake Mead/Mojave.

Can you adopt me. I have always wanted a dad with a gun range. Frog gigging is ok as long as the damn moccasins stay out of the boat. Fresh legs still kicking when they hit the grease. Yumm

I have taken a trophy whitetail, trophy mule deer, trophy pronghorn, black bear, Elk, trophy Mt.lion, elk(nice but not trophy level) and a dall sheep(my proudest)

Waterfowling is my passion, so much my arm is sleeved with a big ole greenhead dropping into a marsh.

I love duck and goose hunting so much man I can't even describe it.

speaking of waterfowling, I got to sit and talk duck with phil robertson(duck commander) about a year ago, it was amazing. That mans knowledge of waterfowl and habitat is amazing. Talked to Sean Mann I think he has won the world championship of goose calling 11 times? he is a real cocksucker. I would rather be a world champion goose killer then goose caller...he is a schmuck.

I love the Robertson's show. Uncle Cy is a trip man.I didn't know Phil could have gone pro as a qb. I think he played with Bradshaw. He said Terry went for the bucks$$ . I went for the ducks. Yeah if you have a mallard pitching in with wings cupped tattooed on your arm you like to duck hunt.A Dall sheep. That had to be a hard hunt. Nice curls?

Very nice curls, I had a full body mount done. It was a physically demanding hunt but the mt.lion was by far the most demanding.

The show Benelli presents duck commander was probably the funniest show ever, with some of the greatest one liners from phil ever

I'm gonna fear god, love my neighbor and hunt ducks, let the chips fall where they may.-phil

    I haven't ran that hard since I saw a game warden-phil

Boys were gonna burn our barrels off-Si

    Happy happy happy-Phil

my idea of heaven is a mess of mallards, with no game warden in sight-phil

Yep out in Utah, I am lucky one of my cousins does all my mounts.

The only guided hunts where the D.Sheep and the Mt.lion. All my other hunts have either taken place on my property or self guided on public with limited access to private land. I am lucky to live where I do cause I have access to pronghorn, mule deer, whitetails, black bear plus I am smack dab in the middle of the central flyway and we get first dibs on the birds, I am that far north.

Not long till Teal season for us. Squirrel next month. I'll start my bulk diet with fried squirrel with gravy and biscuit for breakfast. I've had to go to Arkansas or Mississippi for any real duck hunting. Woody's are not all day shooters. How big was you cat?

he weighed in at 180 pounds and skinned out at around 8.5 feet. I never did the measurements to his skull. The size and scars let me know he was a trophy. I had him turned into a rug that is at the foot of our bed so my big black bear rug got moved to the guest bedroom.

My wifes parents(yuppies) think our son will be scared for life from being around all the violence(almost their exact words).

Yep keep your lawn perfect and dont forget to sweep your driveway and you to may win yard of the month of the house owners association and be listed in subdivision of the month. If you can't pee in yard without the neighbors knowing what you are doing, your neighbors are to close.
