    Apple Macs new mountain lion

    Any of you guys got the Apple Mac and the new mountain lion for the first time ever I'm now talking to my computer as opposed to typing I no longer have to type anything I can't believe that it's amazing.

    i am getting a new laptop for my bday in september. I was going to sell my old mac and then use money towards new one

    Honestly mate all you have to do is talk to the computer and it types everything you want its unbelievable.

    installed it but haven't had time to mess around with it.. the dictation is taken from iphone4s ios5 (siri) features, as are most of the other new features.


    haven't verified this for mnt. lion dictation but give this a try and see if they work matt siri dictation commands

    i thought siri kind of sucked for the iphone like the tech is not a 100% there yet

    I don't know mate. I type waaay faster than anyone can talk (well, almost), so not sure how that would benefit me?

    I'm afraid of upgrading to mountain lion. I'm sure i'm going to have to repatch a lot of the kernel extensions. Anybody have any success with gigabyte motherboards and intel quadcore processors upgrading to mountain lion?

    I will update to mountain lion today, but i really havent read any differences between the new ML OS and OSX

    bleh speech to text no thanks. I type as fast anyways. and its easy and doesn't require me to talk to myself all day.

    I feel that wouldn't be able to handle a lot of the words we throw around here, as they can't even be found in a dictionary (in the AAS section, anyway).
