    What is your WORST lift?

Everyone has an exercise that they just suck at.

    Mine are BB rows.

I cannot move any god damn weight on them. My last set is like 295x5 and I almost kill myself. The weird part is I have a pretty strong back and my deads and lat movements are pretty high in #'s. Strange.

    I wanna hear yours...

See I'm the opposite. I have really strong biceps, but my arms don't grow AT ALL. They're 17" and I'm 260lbs - They should be somewhere around 18.5" to be proportioned.

I have strong shoulders, solid tris, big chest and a wide back, with non existant biceps so if you look at me from the side I look thick, but from the front I look like a big chested guy with stick arms.

I suck at pull ups. It doesn't matter what I do, I just can't fully pull up my own weigh though I have improved lately following the advice of some folks here. I have calves of steel but they won't grow either shiat!!!

My deadlift is the worst for me. I can lift heavy on everything else for back bar that for some reason. Doesn't bother me tho I just rep the shit outta it instead.

Curls. Large defined biceps but have never had any endurance when it comes to any type of curl. No matter how I adjust my lifts nor how much I work on them on other days, I cannot build any endurance for curls

Overhead press, especially now after my rotator cuff surgery. 15 lbs max. Most everything sucks though. Max 35lb dumbbell curls, 40lb dumbbell bench, weight assisted full stack dips when I was doing 45lb weighted dips. Overhead press has always been a weak point though.

Are you allowed to go balls to the wall now? Or are you still having to take it easy in the gym?

My weak lifts are my deadlift. I broke my back years ago and I'm afraid it would aggrivate it. It took years to get pain-free so i don't want to risk it.

Taking it easy for sure. Dont need a doctor to tell me not to lift heavy. My shoulder reminds me loud and clear.

I'm still making progress but I will probably always have some pain. If it's not the shoulder it's the lower back due to 2 surgeries and then there is always the wife, PITA. LOL

I'm seriously hoping I will be pain free in less than a year and able to lift (not heavy) heavier again. I think I am going to try to keep is even lighter than before and just focus on making every rep count more. I really dont want to re injure it and I may be moving a little fast as it is. I decided tonight I need to stay at this weights for a couple of weeks at least.

I used to suck at curls, now way better! Now its squats, for my size I should be squating a lot more weight, I think its cause I hate doing them, but I know their important! I just hate having sore legs for 3 days!!!

You never hear people saying their leg day is their best day, but it's mine.

Definitely pull ups, my back is thick (I think) but not wide. My shoulders keep me from doing good pullups.

Thanks yeah after almost 1 year I went in to have it cut. I have a post with pictures of what they found inside. Take a look.

Speaking of my shoulder the strangest thing happened today. For the 1st time since the surgery including yesterday; it does not hurt today. Even during working out doing triceps it did not hurt 95.5% compared to yesterday and ever day the last year. I have no idea why but THANK YOU... I just hope it's not the calm before the storm. I didnt push it and still kept light but I was able to do dips with less weighted assist since before the surgery with 95% no pain, only a slight twinge but nothing compared to how it has been.

Yesterday I only got less than 3 hrs sleep, I pulled out the chainsaw and cut down a tree then cut it up into 16" lengths and limbed it. In all right I should be more sore today. Maybe I tweaked it yesterday in the right way??? It was sore especially after working out yesterday.

Wow, that sounds great that it's after changing. I know how sore shoulder injuries can be. I ruined my rotor cuff before and it wasn't nice at all. But I just kept lifting till it was strong now it's ok sometimes is sore but the majority it is ok. And doesn't click half as much as it used.

I'm assuming your asking which of the big 3 ( bench, squat, and deadlift ) is my worst. That would be deadlifts.

Bb bench. I can rep the 130 dbs, close grip 315 for reps, but normal bb bench I'd be lucky to get 315 for 1.

If my answer was BB rows, why would you think my question only limited you to three choices?

Work on your rack pulls and only deadlift everyother week. Deadlifts are to Taxing on your central nervous system.

I do them at most twice a month, and usually deficits, although deficits I am stronger on, maybe rack pulls since I suck at them would help. thanks.

Bench press, always has been, always will be, could be my oddly long arms, or my dainty little wrists.... Or just my lack of strength and muscle.
