Neons in england help!!

hi quick question im doing my car up and are neon lights under a car illigal ?

is there anyone out there who has them and what colour do u have ? do u get pulled by the police for having them

Allthough when I was 18 I put a pink one under the passenger seat for when the gf was riding with me, she was 16-17 she liked it and the back seat saw it of action.... But go ahead and put neons under your car if you want to be laughed at, if you go through with it ensure you fit a spoiler twice as high as your car, and chop your exhaust system pre muffler.

I dont know about England, but here in TX, you can have any color except blue and red, and no neons can be flashing. You can see the light emitted, but not the neon tube itself. And it may not shine beyond 2 feet from the body of the car.
