    Calgary Sky360 restaurant

So my gfs family lives in Calgary so we took some time off to go visit them. On our last night we went to the Calgary tower for dinner. Worst decision ever.

I get a ribeye steak, rustic potatoes (pretty sure rustic meant shitty) and begged (one piece steamed broccoli). I get my steak medium rare, it comes out medium. $43 for a steak it better be ****ing cooked right. Service was shit too. I'm a bartender so I usually tip huge. Bill was $100 and I only gave him 10% cuz he sucked.

Anyone else been there and had similar (or better or worse) experience?

Thats sucks man, sorry to hear that. I have been there once and its was really good. Im really picking about my steak too. Now that I think about it, I was there the day of a wedding that I was going to and I was pretty drunk. I remember this because the wife got mad at all my jumping off the tower jokes. Maybe it does suck.lol.. But its good drunk.

Haha ya that would be fun! I had a small glass of wine (5oz $11). The gf had about 2oz. I just sipped on it to enhance my steak. It was my cheat meal so I sprung for the wine.

it was only $100 for a family?
The wife and i went to nobu in NYC. Had a bottle of champagne and dinner. Food sucked. I had sea bass it was ok, Hers was horrible so we pretty much split mine. Tab was almost $400 and about an hour after dinner we went and got some pizza cause we were hungry.

Wow that does suck. Should have dropped by KC on your way up there and got some great barbeque for around 50 bucks for 2. If you haven't noticed by now I'm the unofficial barbeque pusher for KC. And you can't beat our meat..(pun)

$100 for her and I. We got one glass of wine, 11, appy, 14, she got spaghettini, 24?, I got steak, 43. I got the most expensive thing on their like 15 item menu. GF is pregnant otherwise there would have been two or three bottles of wine on their at $60+ a pop

Did you hear about the man who wanted his wife to give birth on top of a skyscraper? He wanted a womb with a view.

A womb with a view; now that's funny right there... I don't care who ya are

I had the same experience at the Calgary Tower. Food was shitty, service was shitty. I think this is because the restaurant rotates and you can see the whole city in 45 mins or so... That and they have really great plumbing!

I hate it when high end chains are inconsistent. I had a great experience at nobu my 1st time. Second time in another city sucked.

I was there...service was great. They didnt cook my steak right so had to do it again. We got dessert for free. Manager came over to apologize for the cooks mistake. They brought me a small cake with candle on it...I have nothing to complain about............when it comes to service at 360

This! Went there last year with the gf, food was overpriced and quality didn't match the price. I expected small portions but the portions were a joke. When we left we were at "The big slice" within 30mins to fill the gap.

Yup, I was just there last month actually. Very overrated, that's about it all I can say about that restaurant. What did you order?
