    I think something is wrong?

Been doing kettlebell off and on for 2 years now..and now I'm dedicated to them. I upped the weight of my kettlebell from 24kg to 32kg about 2 months ago.. Been pushing low reps with them just to get it started, been no problems. My diet remained almost the same, I've upped my protein from 30 to 40g by recommandation of my trainer/dietician.. But something feels off.. I've been feeling tired, muscles don't feel recovered.. its like a day of rest between work out days doesn't feel like its enough.. Feel sore from the first day of the week to the last day.. Been pushing on willpower alone, and its now been getting uncomfortable... Any recommandations? I'm clean and not taking anything .

When is that last time you did a complete deload phase and rested a full week?

Last time I rested for a week was Thanksgiving last year, visited family up north.. Hiking and hunting..
How often should one deload/rest for a week?

uhh you take 40g of protein in a day? or post work out or something? Maybe you trainer or dietician isn't so great. But like razr said a nice little deload wouldn't hurt. I am long overdo for a deload but I have been trying to push it till my babies come, but I hurt.

Thanks Razor, I think I'm taking your advice starting now... everything feels jacked up right now...

20g between breakfast and lunch, 20g before, 40 after, dinner, 20 casin, and cycle repeats.. This is based on me saying I want to be strong and to be able to crack a man's skull with one punch.. hahaha.. heavy bag... weighted sled drag, weekly fights, swimming, drilling everyday.. still along way from my goals... sigh.. but I'm in for the long run..

Go get a few massages from a good place, no rub and tugs. Rest, stay extremely hydrated on your week off and keep eating and taking in plenty of calories and protiens, but cut the carbs a bit so you dont gain any fat...and no cardio, just R&R I promise you, that you will feel amazing come weeks end.

100 Grams of protein a day? How much do you weigh? Doesn't seem adequate. You want face crushing strength? What's your squat deadlift and bench look like? I'm sure all that other stuff will get you in decent shape to last in a fight, but won't give you crushing strength. I ask about the protein cause it sounds way low, that's counting all your food?

I'm 165lbs at 5'7" calipered 18% , if you make fun of my height I'll show you some short man syndrome
Squat 300lb, Bench 180lb .. Weighted vest run 60lbs for hour .. I am not where I want to be yet... I want to do be 150lb or cal 10%, Squat 400lb, Bench 200lb, Weighted vest run 90lbs for hour
Not concern with weight lost, not building myself to be a hulk..but I think I'll look better if my abs can be seen... So thats why I do ballistic training with kettlebells, want to lose some but I am sure I wont cry if I don't..
I just did the math 240g of protein with meals

K good deal on the protein, ample imo. I'm only 5'8" so I won't give you trouble on the height. But the weight is really low. Maybe you should up your squat and bench goals, those look decent for extremely short term, but overall isn't that strong. go for 500 squat 300 bench imo.

Thank you for your look over, I'm still a work in process and I'll keep going to my goal and get over it to the numbers you mentioned.

Razor! Thanks for the advice.. I feel great.. But trust me, going back after a week of R&R was hash.. lifting steel and cussing under my breath that I should of kept on going and go one weight smaller ... It was like breaking rust.. But now a few days into it, I do feel pretty good... The lifting isn't easy, but it was far better then what I was dealing with before the R&R

Load, deload, reload is a bodybuilders game of life. Even though weaker now you will get stronger. I'm on a 7-14 day deload right now. Thank ronnie Rowland for his insite.
