    Did you guys like Bane?

The first time I saw the movie I was not that impressed but after a second time and listening more closley to the dialogue and his thought process he grew on me. Not only that but we was a tank, it took a tank gun to finally take him out and who knows if that even killed him, he wore that huge chest piece. He fought with such intensity it was really impressive. I think Tom Hardy was the best pick especially after the movie The Warrior.

There were a few things about Bane in the movie they didn't follow the comics with (i.e. the venom syrum that was supposed to be pumped into him that makes him jacked and superhuman). Either way, I thought he was still well done in this movie and MUCH better than the portrayal in the crappy Batman & Robin from 1998 or whenever it was.

I like the fact that he is not just strong and a formidable warrior, but that he's also a genius as well (this is how he was in the comics).

I totally agree, him being super smart was nice to see, kinda like the joker was pretty damn smart as well. I was not too disappointed that they left out the serum booster steroids in this one cause it was just kinda built into him all the time. I think they left it out cause of the whole hulk similarity, but having the mast was pretty cool. He was strong, fast agile and fought with ferocity. Batman never even physically damaged him minus the tank blast from catwoman

They actually totally removed the venom syrum and replaced it with anesthetic. I don't know if you remember, but in that mask of his was anaesthetic that was constantly being pumped into him. Reason for this is because of how if you remember, when he was in the prison when he was young, he got horribly injured in his face and head that left him in excrutiating pain forever. He needs that anaesthetic to function properly. That's why when batman partially punched it off later on in the movie, Bane went crazy and was visibly harmed by it.

Oh I see so thats what it did, I know its a movie but thats a pretty high tech piece of gear, like something batman would have..How did that washed up doc in the pit make it for him?

Yes Bane (Tom Hardy) was awesome! There are some deleted scenes that show how he got the mask and the scars on his back but Nolan cut them cus he felt like the audience would show to much sympathy for Bane. I didnt like how he got taken out at the end. But WOW Tom Hardy was great. Loved Warrior also and just started watching Bronson, what a crazy fuk!

This is such a coincidence, I was at the gym last night and right next door is a bar/club. I know the door guy, awesome dude 6'0 235 works out everyday solid as a rock, anyways we were talking for about an hour and this guy shows up who looks just like Tom Hardy, like a 98% look alike. Same look, chill attitude and looks half asleep like Hardy always does. And the dude was jacked and I was like dude, you look like Bane and my buddy caught on too it as soon as I saw the similarities, turns out he was a marine as well so we had lots of stories and we actually been to the same areas in Iraq and Afghanistan the guy was huge, dairy farmer by trade and field artillery in the corps. When we shook hands I was like wow this guy is insanely strong, started telling me about loading the shells in the big guns weighing 95-130lbs with ease. Even my buddy was very impressed.
