    ER Today

For the past week I've been having some tightness and pain in my chest. I keep putting off going to the doc cause I'm stubborn and most doctors are uselss. Last night I came home from work and I was relaxing on the couch with the tv on and playing Tiny Village. Out of the blue it felt like there was a short or surge in my brain, like someone hit it with electricity and my vision and hearing was lost. This only lasted a second or two and when it stopped my entire body was weak and felt like needles were jabbing me. I got up and looked in the mirror to make sure I wasn't having a stroke and noticed my neck pulsing like crazy cause my heart was beating so fast and hard. After calling a couple medical friends I went and got my blood pressure checked, 161/90 which is high but not too high. I decided to be a trooper and put off going for help till this morning. I went to the Urgent Care office and the doc there told me to go to the Emergency Room for a head scan, heart scan, and labwork. So, I went to the ER and they did a chest X-ray and some bloodwork. My bloodwork came back fine but they didn't want to address the issue involving my head. The chest issues are apparently not cardiac related at this time. Tomorow I will be heading back to the Urgent Care office to see if they can get me in for a brain scan with one of their people since the ER wouldn't do it.

I have never been so terrifed in my life like I was last night. I thought I was going to die when it happened, I just remembered thinking that I was going to die from a stroke. I'm back home now and relaxing but I'm completely on edge which makes the situation even worse. FML!!!!

I am going to come off blunt here but w/e. FYI putting off going to get help when your symptom is occurring and then going the next day when it is not, is most definitely not being a trooper it is being an idiot. This is your health and life and at the end of the day that is all you have. Take care and I hope you figure out what is wrong with you, but don't "be a trooper" anymore please.

People your age die from strokes, heart attacks, brain embolisms, and a variety of other things all the time.

If it ever happens again, go immediately!

I got a pain on the left side of the top of my head down to neck/ trap today when exerting myself banging this girl and earlier in the week when using the prowler at the gym. The pain was so bad I had to stop and gather myself. I am thinking I am probably dehydrated but I plan on going to the doctor this week. I refuse to **** around whenever I have abnormal pain in my body

Hey Blue, yeah I would go get that checked out immediately. B/P isn't great.

I don't know if you on gear or not but that's not by any means a healthy BP

There are numerous thins that it could be, but just be smart and go when the signs and symptoms are presenting themselves.

It's better to be safe than sorry. Good luck man.

You might've just had a palpitation which triggered a panic attack. Still get checked out and DONT EVER WAIT TILL THE NEXT DAY AGAIN!!! Do you consume a lot of caffeine?

I tend to avoid doctors at all cost since I've never really received great treatment when I've gone. The only things that I had changed in my normal routine was the addition fo clomid and nolvadex, I just finished those Friday. I also started the DS Labs Specral DNC to help prevent hairloss. I'm going to stop this for a week and try again, if symptoms come back then I know it's that. Trying to get a brain scan today so we'll see how that goes!!
