Vitamin C won't do much. It's more preventative than anything else and your body will only absorb so much C and the rest is excreted through the kidneys. In fact, the more C you take, the more you'll pee. Get some zinc, A, and magnesium. The three will work synergistically to boost your immune response. When I'm sick, I take up to 20 mg of zinc per day for 7 days straight. Don't take this dose for more than 7 days because zinc is toxic at high doses for extended periods. If you have any GI issues, keep your diet as bland as possible for 72 hours. Rest, hydrate, and yes, sweat it out!!!!!
