Truck broken into
So my truck was broken into and the dumba$$ got away with my Edge Evolution programer. The thing is that my truck was programmed in tow mode since I was on the river a couple nights ago. Im guessing that im going to drop 400 bones today on a new programmer. Any if I can get the truck back to stock if needed? I will drive it in tow but if i have to go back at any point for warranty work, it will need to be reset.

I have a feeling you are all out of luck. Knowing the insurance company they will tell him that he needed a rider on his policy to cover items that are stolen out of the truck that did not come factory in the truck. In other words he is screwed.

Yes and no. U need riders for things worth a high amount of money in ur house like the wifes rings. If u didnt have one then there is a cap to what you can claim. But any personal property up to a certain amount is covered if it is in ur vehicle. Probably 5000 or so. I couldnt claim a 30,000 dollar ring if it was stolen from my truck.

And that is why some of us pay for the extra riders on our policies. I have been lucky and opted for the extra coverage on my quads that have been stolen 2x. Worked out perfect so I was covered 100%+ each time. I have $5000 of extras covered this time. I always opt for the extra coverage on cars and home owners also. Reminds me, it's time to video everything in the house for inventory. It's been a while.
