From what I've been hearing is that they are working on making pure lortab/vicoden without the acetaminaphen in them due to liver issues. However, like lovbyts said above you need to get him to get you on the 10/325 which is the lowest available acetamin. in them. Even so I can't see that being the issue, although I'm not a professional doctor either to be able to make that claim. Especially since you are taking 4 to 6 daily. And if you google about vicoden and acetaminaphen and liver issues you will see many are having issues. I just don't know how many tabs a day they are taking to get those liver issues. But I also see your doc putting you on something like simvastatin for your high cholesterol as well. And testosterone can and does elevate your cholesterol as well as red blood cells, which need to be monitored regularly.IMO

In your opinion, since they asked me to come back in, what should I expect them to do? Will they order in more BW, or maybe just give me meds? I started running Test P the day after, so I am a week into it. I chose the Prop so in case something was wrong, I could stop it and go back within a week. I dont want to do that, but I chose that route just in case. Should I stop the Test P a week before I go back, or just tell them no more BW for a while? I figured they wouldnt run it again, but who knows. I definitely dont want to stop what I started a week in, but definitely will if needed. Thanks for that reply!
I would ask them for their reason for not running the labs that were specified. Also, if they agree to run a thyroid panel, don't just let them run TSH and call it that. Note the thyroid labs that I listed and ask for a "complete" assay. Get the ferritin and iron as well.

Sholva, you wont believe me when I tell you this, but here goes. My Dr feels I am too young to be on narcotic pain meds. He prescribed me Tramadol about 5 years ago, and I got hooked on them. He told me they were non habit forming, and now they are scheduled! He was wrong about that one. Thats what got my on Lortab. The Tramadol makes me sick and hollow headed and a friend gave me some Hydros. They made the pain go away completely and even made me socialize more. I am an introvert. Anyways, I told my doc and he gave me the 10/500s and told me the tylenol was in there to keep from abusing them. He said they made the 10/325s, but wanted to be sure I was responisble. I feel I got screwed. When I got my bloods done, he gave me 5/500 which pissed me off and I just canned them. Just ticks me off that they would prescribe something that can cause more harm than good, even at recommended doses. I wish there was something that could get me off and do a good job at managing pain. But I went from Tramadol to Hydros to get me off the Tramadol. And I am telling you, the Tramadol was brutal and made me sick as a dog. I want to get off the stuff completely, but dont want to go the drastic routes, especially since my family and wife are unaware of the condition. Oh well, you live and learn. I just hope I live long enough to say I learned.

What is the TSH and how do you think they would take it if I told them not to run it?

It's OK to run TSH, but don't let that be the only thyroid lab. Here's a link to stop the thyroid madness http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com...ended-labwork/

Read up on the labs, and take some time to read the site in general. Highly informative!!

Ok, well it looks like Atomini and a few others already covered most of the issues.
But here is what I can tell you, based on skimming this thread:
    1) Take NAC instead of UDCA. NAC (N-acetyl cysteine) is used in ERs to treat hepatic damage from acetaminophen overdose and is exactly what you need. It is also shown to lower bilirubin levels. It is cheap as hell and OTC Take 2-3g daily with vitamin C. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Acetylcysteine
    2) More cardio, less fatty foods.
