It was a great Olympia.
I felt that in the 212 David Henry and Flex Lewis were almost too close to call. I admit, I'd have given it to Henry-- I think he came just a little more sharp.
Phil is on top of his game and he deserved it. Kai sure gave him a run for his money, though. Damn close. Shawn Rhoden really brought it. All in, I agree with the top 3 picks.
Next year the title could change hands! There's not much separating the best this time around. I think Kai has the potential to take it from Phil...

definition, deeper cuts. i know it's hard to believe, but when they are side by side you can see it. Kai has the back hands down and owns the back dbl bicep. but everywhere else Phil inched him out. believe me gearbox, i wanted Kai to win more than anyone.Originally Posted by gearbox

Man Phils shoulders were easily 2 times bigger than kais, the definition in the muscles was amazing. I'm a big kai fan but phil had it hands down. even when they were both standing there it was obvious who was going to come out the winner. None the less kai looked amazing!
Also really impressed by shawn rhoden!

Aye politics plays heavy in the Olympia. not to dis arnold, but how else did he win so many, and all the other years you have guys win multiple times, there's a reason for that.

Lets not forget how this contest is judged, symmetry , proportion, muscularity. Bodybuilding is about the whole body and how it all comes together, the right guy won no doubt about it.

That's very true. I had heard that Kai's reputation was a little tainted and that would affect his placement in the contest. You would hope it would be purely based on physique but there always seems to be some politics involved.
Anyone know what kept Cutler out? Was it the bicep injury? I read somewhere he said the injury and business ventures just didn't give him enough time to prepare but he is expected to be back in 2013.....and says he wants his title back from Phil.

The main thing I heard about cutler wing out was business. His bicep is looking good and he's back to training. I saw an interview where he said he's been so busy he's only eating 3 meals a day. I would like to see him come back and take another O!

Ya that's mostly what I heard but a few reports claim the bicep was still lagging. Doesn't look like it though.
2013 will be insane if he's back in form. It'll probably come down to Cutler, Heath, and Greene.

I'm a really big Cutler fan, so I was a little gutted to see him drop out of this one.
I felt like Kai should of taken first, his conditioning is better. Kais only problem is his height. His torso looks a little squashed.
