As far as I know, our C7A2 rifles are not manufactured by FN. Its Colt Canada that manufactures it.

Atomini, that is an awesome gun! I love those ACOGs, but I had serious buyers remorse when I bought one. I bought it, was thrilled, got home, heard it from the wife. I still got it, but still regret it. Next time Ill buy a clone that doesnt have the trillium reticles. I can get them for around 400 bucks. That dang Burris AR site is a decent option as well for close to mid range fire. For 400 bucks on Ebay, I dont think you can go wrong with that.

yup, i was gonna say the exact same thing, then saw this last post. there is no mistaking the audible sound of a shotgun racking a shell. it would send shivers up my spine if i were a perp.

Was just going through some pictures on my phone. Imagine what you could do with all this...

That was the most fun I had in a loooong time. And the awesome thing about it was this: it was on a range for a basic course that was running and I was part of the staff getting this ammo ready. I went and used one of the rifles from one of the candidates. I didn't have to clean shit after!

Hahaha that's just French for "made in Canada". As you may or may not know, because French is our second language here, EVERYTHING must be accompanied with a french translation on the label/box (especially food, all foox boxes/packages have a French side). Hence why on the rifle it also says "forces Canadiennes" on it lol.

Ill go sentimental favorite. I have an old savage 30/30 bolt action - iron sights only- that was my grandfathers then my fathers. I restored it. It a good Pa deer gun for woods hunting. When I carry it there is something special about carrying the gun my grandfather and father before me carried in the same woods, all those years ago.

This was taken on a FTX from a couple years back where I rocked the 7.62 on the turret for a bit,

THIS thing is made by FN,

It's called the C6, which is our Canadian variant of what you folks in the States have as the M240G.

Not sure what the laws are in your state but from this pic, the barrle length is short enough that it would be considered a postol since it does not have a stock on it. Once the stock is installed you would have a rifle with an illegal overall and barrel length ......HERE ANYHOW!

M14. It was developed by Earle Harvey of Springfield Armory in response to the AK-47 to replace the the problematic M1 Garand. Right?

The picture is quite small and at first I thought it was an M14 but it LOOKS like an M1 .30 carbine from WW2.

Winner...I don't know how to make the pics big like yours A. I guess we are even on the Tren dammit lol.

It is an all parts matching Rockola M1 30 carbine. Rockola was a Jukebox manufacture during WW2 out of Kansas City I believe. The manufacturing of this weapon for WW2 was a true testiment to the hard working ppl of that era. Just over 6 million of these rifles were put into service by 9 primary manufacturers. Every weapon had to spec so that any and every part was completely interchangeable.

I wish this rifle could speak..perhaps it would talk about IwoJima, Nomandy or D-day on Omaha beach! I get shivers when I shoot this thing!!

The history behind it, I did not know. A freaking jukebox manufacturer made it?! Essentially, the M1 carbine is really an M1 garand with a smaller caliber round and a magazine feed system, and is also essentially the precurser to the M14. That M1 carbine has probably seen more wars than just WW2 also... that weapon was used up to and during Vietnam, I believe.

Correct...Their were 9 major manufacturers including IBM (type writer company), Winchester, GM (auto manuf.). Unlike the M1 Grand it fetures a short stroke piston gas system designed by David (carbine) Williams while he was serving time in prison. He was hired to complete the design of this rifle that was actually started by Ed Browning (John Brownings brother) foe Winchester. Winchester was awarded the contact by the US Govt. but could not mass produce the rifle fast enough so they subed out the work.
