Yup, that's the one I was referring to. Harder to keep track living in the US now but I much prefer our October Thanksgiving to the American one in November (no offense to my American friends). I've just never gotten use to celebrating Thanksgiving so close to Christmas. I'll probably spend it in Vegas this year since I hear its usually a "down time" in Vegas.

Happy Thanksgiving to family and friends in Canada - don't forget to watch your macros!!!!

Thanksgiving has its roots in Protestant England, beginning with Henry VIII, I believe.

the point is to eat as much turkey as it takes to pass out on the nearest couch.

To be honest, I HATE TURKEY.

Only time I ever remotely enjoyed it was when it was barbequed. If its cooked in the oven, its dry as shit and is like eating styrofoam!!!

My father-in-law does a deep fried turkey every thanksgiving and it's amazing! Stays super moist on the inside.

Deep fried turkey is surprisingly good. It's not greasy at all and cooks up pretty quick.

I do both, one in the oven and one deep fried. . . . Why not. . .

Very true, but with the turkey the oil is hot enough that when you drop it in it sears the outside almost immediately so very little oil penetrates the skin and very little of the juices in the turkey get out. And since it isn't breaded all you have to do is remove the skin and you have perfectly cooked moist lean meat.

Maybe I should have delayed my cycle to make it long enough to cover thanksgiving

I remember once I timed a cycle so that thanksgiving landed right in the middle of it, and it was perfect because I was bulking, lol.
