The Thyroid has at least 8 to 10 different assays that can be performed to make an assessment of its health; TSH (Thyroid Stimulating Hormone) is but just one and not one to tell you much detail to be honest. TSH allows the Doc to see how your Thyroid is performing from the 30,000 foot level. Anything 2 and under is fine. Anything 2 to 3 means the Thyroid is a bit underperforming and you want to keep an eye on it when you do future BW. Anything over 3 suggests Hypothyroidism and further testing should be done.
If you're concerned the Doc may discover something about your steriod use, it probably won't show up here in any of these assays. There are other hormonal panels that can give that away real fast.
You're fine, go in and hear the Doc tell you that you are healthy!
