Regaining Sanity
Do you guys ever take a break from hardcore dieting?
I feel like I need a good month of not eating shit but chilling with the macros and of course still going to the gym
I feel like I need a break in order to get a recharge going.

yea i went from high 20's bf down to mid teens
I made some great strides but I need a month or two break but still lifting in order to really make a huge push for spring summer

Heck yeah man. I would go crazy if I didn't take a break from it. There are definitely times where I have eaten pizza and beer for a couple weeks straight! And that is something I am very proud of!

Well done on the bf% loss! I usually eat clean in spring and summer then autumn and winter I keep 80%-90% clean and 10%-20% naughty to keep my sanity!

I take a cheat meal like ice cream or chocolate once every 2 weeks...
Pain is weakness leaving the body!

I love powerlifting strong man training no need to stress about bf% but I still eat clean with a cheat meal once a week I more take it by what my body feels if I'm flat and feeling bad and I need more cals I might have something cheat ish but still within reason I don't really lash out and eat crazy crap when I do have a cheat meal half a BBQ chicken with a small handful of chips is probably the worst I go

yes , absolutely, usually one a week why cycling, but when not I eat reasonably good and crappy.....then after a few weeks start feeling crappy from eating crappy. Its kinda like a cycle in itself. Like life I guess, everything is a cycle.

I just realized we are too hard on yourself/myself sometimes....breaks are good. Work on the plain fact that's its k...we should not have to walk around with feelings of guilt because we are not trying to be the best we can be all the time. Enjoy............

I am at the age still where I can cheat a lot. And I also do the sling shot deload when lifting very 8 weeks I take a 2 week of higher reps less sets to recharge but keep joints moving

Every summer. Sure I bust ass to lean out before summer but I enjoy the sun, sand, a few beers and good food. No I don't go ape shit and eat anything and everything. But I don't deprive myself of that piece of pie.

Actually even now since I am cycling my carbs on a 5 day off 2 days on cycle I eat fairly normal stuff 2 days a week. Pancakes today and had some oatmeal raisin cookies yesterday.
My real issue is binge eating. I can sit down after a good 420 session and pound down most of a 20" pizza then do some ice cream.
No need for this now. If I can stop smoking cold turkey one day, I can eat healthy shit.

Everybody stop talking about pizza damnit! I haven't had pizza in like 2 weeks and I already am scratching my neck and everything.

I can't smoke anymore because it seriously effects my schooling. I can't concentrate and turn into a vegetable.
But, I do restrict my eating so much. I can eat like a 350 pound fat man. I haven't seen many people keep up with me. To bad this isn't good for jack shit.
