Bodybuilding vs Weightlifting
Do you guys agree with Kai and what are your thoughts

Yes bodybuilding and weightlifting is different. Plenty of people can lift large amounts of weight for their size, and plenty of big guys don't move much weight. I watched to 240 and he's right for what he wants to accomplish. Personally I haven't done a real bicep curl in years.

I think the weightlifter looks better than the Kai, never been a fan of Kai's look. Thanks for the video.

I agree completely... However progressive tension overload is required for growth and adding weight very slowly is a good way to achieve this...
I always push good form into anyone I train with...

Kai is a phenomenal role model for bodybuilders, and you can't help but like the guy.
Aside from the tips he addresses in the video,
I'd much rather look something like this:
than this any day...
I can't imagine how much a struggle doing simple things like the dishes would be for someone like him or aspiring bodybuilders alike.Last edited by Shsm; 10-12-2012 at 09:15 AM.

He should do a little bit of Cardio
Anyways what do i think of the advise.... Its Solid. I'm bigger than a bunch of firefighters who are benching 250+lbs everytime I see them & I'm slowly doing reps of 130 incline ect.. Just feel you body, IMO- feeling is important at least for me. The video was fine.

Personal preference really do you want to look huge but not be as strong as you look or do you want to a actually be strong I agree that form must be correct always but for me I'm into powerlifting I want to move a lot of weight with good form

I understand the difference between BB and WL. But there must be other variables.
You do not get biceps like that for curling 30 lbs. You don't. You just don't.

I have to tend towards agreeing with you but I also think nutrition plays a bigger role than people give credit for. Imagine if you ate your correct 6 meals a day for 10-20 years like Kai (hes 37). So much time involved eating the right way can make a big difference. That said in his hour long training video he moves some serious weight at times on squat and bench.
