Sandy
I live in South Florida and Hurricane Sandy is now just starting to show herself and even though she's a 150 or so miles to the East of us the shits hitting the fan so to speak right now. Nothing too concerning as we've seen much worse...
However, if you live in the North East keep an eye on where she's going to come on land; even a weak Cat I can do a shit load of damage and serious flooding.
Be safe my brothers!

Sandy wont give more than a few showers to south florida. This is simply a storm. I would be more worried about it picking up intensity and hitting the north

^^^^Exactly, they are not used to these monsters Noles; that's why I made a mention of it.
It won't be like what you and I are used to seeing but it still can be bad enough!

I agree. Growing up on the East coast of Florida and living in the pan handle, I have dealt with my fair share of storms.
I loved the week off of school as a kid, riding bikes around during the eye and clear times looking at the damage, then coming home to no power for the whole week living off of grilled foods, canned foods, and candles

^^^^Wilma man!
She left us with no power for 15 days!
Thank God for a grill!
Ice? Forget about it!
I converted my generator to run on natural gas so I don't have to rely on gas stations anymore...I have natural gas at the house.
I just want those members and guest reading this in the NE to just prepare yourself. It won't be like what we get here in FLA; but it can still be a eye opener if you're not prepared!

No clue. Just assumed it was real but could easily be a fake

It just says they are photos from a storm chaser edited into a picture of nyc. Not a real photo from any movie or anything

I got fcked by the storm. Stayed at my girlfriends house and it literally looked like the ocean flowing through the street. Trees got knocked down, water got tainted, no power, and national guard. I'm just happy everyone was alright. Finally able to connect to Internet and get back on the board, looks like a missed a lot in the last couple of days
