When you get the flu, you might think otherwise.

Actually, the latest version is rather worthwhile cos new strains are included in the formulation. The 2013 version. Came out last month.

It's a personal choice. Every year a flu shot is developed based on the best estimate of what influenza viruses are most likely to be prominent. If a virus pops up that's not included in the vaccine pops up, you may have no protection. But, if you're worried about heavy metals in the substrate, you'll probably eat more in your veggies today, and the flu shot doesn't give you the flu, although you may have some symptoms as your immune system reacts. I personally do, but my job exposes me to the flu more than the average joe. Just some food for thought.

At the doctor they have been pushing my gf to get a flu shot but she's prego. They say it's made specially for pregnant women but I refused to let her until I could get more information. I couldn't believe how hard the nurse and doctor were pushing taking the shot... But they couldn't give me a reason why she had to have it other then she's more susceptible to virus's bc she's prego.....

New versions are produced every 6 months. But for the past few versions, they havent included any new strains. Which means each new version was actually identical to the previous one. But this latest one finally included a new strain. So get this one (2013 northern) if you have been missing the last few.

If you want to avoid getting sick, wash your hands. Google proper handwashing, you may think you know how, but most people don't. Washing your hands is the single best defence agains the flu. Just look around at all the disgusting people not washing their hands in the bathroom, picking their nose, coughing into their hands, and touching everything that you touch. People are disgusting!!!! Also, avoid touching your face. Your eyes, nose, and mouth are great portals of entry. There's nothing wrong with getting the flu shot, but regular and proper hand washing is even better, especially if you're young and healthy.
