I would hardly call being jacked cheap. Think of how much money he spent on food and the time spent in the gym. Cheap would be buying a realistic costume that makes you look jacked.

This thread made me do a bit of research on The Rock and during his WWE days, in as amazing shape as he was, apparently he was around 14% bf.
Now he clearly looks 10% or less. I also found that he said he had to drop BF% for certain movie roles, plus the fact he wasn't on the road with the WWE company probably means he wasn't putting his body through events every night means he could maintain a better diet.
Know how big Hugh Jackman got for the Wolverine films? Rock told him to try and eat 6000 cals a day with high percentage of chicken, and he'll put X amount of pounds per week. Whether that's true, I dont know!
