    Lightbulb need ideas2

    i've posted this in the nutrition section aswell, but more people seem to hang out in here lol... kinda strange how in the q&a everyone keeps pushing diet before AAS, but then you go to the nutrition section and no ones there lol, anyways:


    ok so for those of you who dont know, im currently an apprentice baker, almost finished my 3 year apprenticeship.

    anyways one of my last assignments i gotta do is new product development, so basically i gotta come up with a new product for a bakery, it can be sweet, savory, or healthy... i really wanna make something that i can eat so i've ruled out sweet, so was thinking something thats carb/protein, or just carbs..
    my 1st thought was oat bread, but after a quick google search, that wouldn't exactly be new, my next thought was sweet potato bread, and after another quick google search.... again its already been done.....

    hmm... maybe a savory product, like chicken and avocado and maybe cottage cheese pockets.. maybe like eg: roll out a piece of wholemeal dough and then fill it with chicken, avocado and cottage cheese, then fold it over to make a sort of pastie pocket thing.... that wouldn't be able to sit on the shelf tho.. would have to be kept hot or cold (thats ok tho, the assignment sheet doesn't say it has to be able to be kept on the shelf) although if kept cold the bread would stale quickly...

    anyways anyone got any good ideas???

    Love cottage cheese. That cottage cheese pocket you spoke of sounds great. Add fruit with it though. Peaches, blueberries, apples, etc. Then pack some up and send me a sample and I'll give you an objective opinion.

    kronik i know what u mean about the nutrition section being kinda desolate. its been like that lately which is why i come in here and other forums more than i did previously. not much fun hanging out in there by myself! however, it is saturday and its always dead in there on the weekends!

    to address ur topic my wife made these protein balls which had like protein powder, oatmeal, and chocolate chips, and peanut butter in them and they were freaking awesome! i dont remember if she made them off a recipe i got here or if she came up with the recipe but i can ask if u want me to?

    they were dang good man! a sweet but with complex carbs and a fair amt of protein too. kinda like a tasty snack that prob wouldnt fit well into macros if u ate a whole lot of em every day but definitely a sweet u could eat periodically that would fit into macros pretty well if not abused.

    fruit and cottage cheese... hmm interesting lol, never tried that one before... you mean have one with peaches and cottage cheese, and one with blueberries, etc. or combine all the fruits into one thing? ....

    im currently browsing the recipe section, seeing what i can steal and modify.. im pretty sure it has to be a yeast raised product...

    I saw somebody I want to say Gbrice post a chocolate cake that was made out of protein powder and other ingredients and topped with almond slivers. It sounded incredible.
