Mornin guys walking around work wanting to train very bad. Been 6 days ugh. Its tuff fitting it in when i lift at work all day long too moving shit all the time.

Ahh shit mate - it almost sounds like my quad tear - I would get just about to parallel and like Prox described - it was like my leg was giving out on itself(especially the farther past parallel I went) - was on Hack squat machine

Morning all. Gloomy Sunday here.
Really pushed biceps & triceps hard yesterday. Between the super slow negatives, the rest-pauses and the drops - really hurting today.
Nice day at the gym to do a little watching as well. We have about a dozen or so very serious ladies, both BBers and also power-lifters. Watching a well muscled lady getting aggressive with the weights gets my heart pumping
AG, might have located a massage therapist that that sounds like yours - psyched!
Clarky, my pleasure - ask away, but please let me know about the severity of the ACL. Still feel all of this is coming from the under the patella though.

Just returned from a 10Km power walk, took about 60min, not even feeling tired. Lowering one's T can do wonders.
Does this count as cardio right?

Sorry to hear that Clarky. Soccer/ (or football as its called, not that I'm a fan of it, but every reasonable person understand that soccer is football and am.fotball is rugby.) is bad for the joints, knees especially and "hips" also.
Hope there's something to do.
Supplementing with glucosamine and gelatin can only do so much.

Busy weekend!
Had a deadlift and squat day yesterday.
Didn't go too heavy as i still have some lower back issues,
And I actually felt more pain free this morning than before the workout.
No training today and I notice now that my lower back (on the right side) aches a bit again.
Got to find out what that is, lasted a little longer than id like such things to last now. Seems to be located from the middle and to the right side, just over the glute.
Anyway, keep having a good weekend all!

Mixing up a shake then headed to the shop in a few. Been resting whenever I wasn't at work and feel about ready to do some lifting, but I think I will do some stretching and rolling instead.

Ok, time.for bed. Finally figured out why guaiacol has a familiar smell. The smell reminds me of what it is like to get a Mucinex/guaifenesin tab stuck halfway down your throat. That's all I got.

Decent go at it tonight. Shorted myself on deads by not wearing straps, going to have to start doing that and possibly using the belt more often if I wear straps regularly.
1 set of crunches
Back and lat stretches
CG pulldown w/ u'hand grip- 2 w/u, Work- 5+ - 3+ - 2+ with 10 count hold on partials
Parallel grip pulldown- 1 w/u, Work-5+ - 3+ - 1+ with 10 count hold on partials.
Straightjacket stretches
Tbar rows- 1 w/u, Work- 3,drop,3,drop,3+.Kind of goofed these up. I don't have a spare corner to put the dead end of my bar against and it slipped up out of where I had the end against. With 4 plates on, the damn thing was balanced out perfect for the first 3 reps and was picking up the entire bar and the the plates, but then it got squirrelly, so I started dropsetting. I need to take time to fab up a landmine type rig, but have no spare time. I may try cramming it in a corner of my Smythe machine next time.
Low pulley rows w/ cambered D handle- Work- 7+ - 3+ - 2+ w/ a slow burning 10 count hold on partials.
Deads- 1 w/u, Work1- 10 slow and easy smooth reps with a couple of plates a side. Work2- 6 reps and my grip crapped out w/ 3 plates a side. Not an impressive amount of weight, but it felt good considering it was at the end of my lift? Will strap up next time. Hopefully the back holds together as it is feeling good right now.

After I do my crunches, I go pretty hard on the wide grip or close grip pulldowns and the parallel grip pulldowns with long holds on the partials, so between those and the straightjacket stretches, everything feels warm and full of blood, and I find my groove real quick, so I feel ready to hit the working set. I don't know how to say it, but it just feels "right"? I don't yank the bar around, just a slow movement of the bar up and down w/ a good squeeze at the top.
When I do the Smith supported rows, it's a different story. It takes at least 2 warmups to get the placement of my chest against the bench and getting my feet positioned right before I can move onto my working set.Last edited by almostgone; 11-01-2016 at 09:52 AM.

Bedtime for me. Back feels just a tad tight, it In think it's just from good lifting. If I rest well, I may try to squeeze in chest this evening. Just depends on my energy levels, etc.

Hi fellas,GGR. Was feeling good this morning at work then as the day went on i got sicker and sicker, nightmare this carry on. Still went for a session probs should not have but i did anyway.
I did arms and it was all cable work, and it went well.
CCC, 1 working +rp 1 drop a side
Standing cable curls 1 working +rp 1 drop
Cable breacher 1 working 1 drop
Tri pd 1 working DD. S bar
Behind head tri ex 1 working DD. Rope
Tri pd 1 working 1 drop. Rope
Done, very very good burn on all ex worked them really good.
