    Age 17.
I was in the Royal Navy and the BMI chart said the same. "Morbidly obese".

    Height 6'4"
    Weight 250lbs

So the doc says he can't sign me off as healthy. Had to call in the chief medical officer. She walked in, looked once and said nonsense. Signed my sheet and left.

At the time I didn't train and had some extra pounds. But I wouldn't have even said I was "fat" at that point. BMI is a very primitive system. And it's unfortunately the go to format for most doctors. They don't know what else to do. Chart says obese. Regardless of how your actual body composition looks!

Hey AG/Marcus/Kel or anyone who knows BP meds... I'm going to order some(as my doc says my BP has been trending up since the last 3-5yrs... and will continue it also runs in the family!

I'm allergic to sulfalamides - so ramipril(sp) a good one? I couldn't use the oasis as it contained sulfalamides... any help would be great BP was 130/75 yesterdaybut after he checked the other arm and it was 135/80... so he hasn't written me anything but it'd be nice to have on hand!

    Thank you fellas

Things are getting hectic at work, but am aiming to shoot for lifting EOD @ a minimum. Hopefully can get a couple.of back to back lifting days here and there, although there will probably be a rest day before and.after squat day.
If I can hurry and wrap this sideshow up, I can nail shoulders tonight. Probably go see the phlebotomy cutie here soon, pull a CBC afterwards, and if still a tad high, I'm.eligible.to donate.

That's quite normal. Seems most staff at doc's offices tend to rush you in the room, barely give you a moment to breath then slap the cuff around your arm and get the reading. Always in a rush to get the numbers fast and move on. I've told them no and to go through their questions first. I don't think they appreciated it but I explained why. Fvck em.

You're lucky. They take me back to the room and make me wait 30+ minutes for anyone to come in.

    Buy a BP monitor.
Same exact way. I got three completely different results in one day.

    Home- 125/79
    GP - 130/85
    Cardiologist- 110/62

It's crazy. But it also has to do with cuff size, feet placements, everything.

And this too. Every little factor I have come to find out changes your results.

Palms up, feet flat on floor, first thing when u wake up.

Do this for a few weeks and get your average going. Then go to doc, sometimes ur home bp monitors are off so u adjust accordingly

    What's up guys!

Had a very shitty chest session today.

Wife and I been bickering all day. And she continued to text at the gym. Mind wasn't into it.

Question now is...would u call this a loss for the week or if there is time try to hit it again later on?
