shoulder
Pre exhaust due to my RC injury
Standing single side laterals
3 warm up sets
1 working to failure, then continued to do half reps then onto quarter reps - these really burnt my side delt, the partials were done until I couldn't move the weight from my side.
Single DB front raises
2 feel sets
1 working set to failure, then onto half reps and then quarters, again till I couldn't move the weight - crazy burn
bent over db rear delts
1 feel set
2 working sets to failure, halfs then quarters
seated machine shoulder press
2 feel sets
1 working to failure plus 2 drop sets
BB shrugs
2 feel sets
1 working set plus triple drop set
Thought I would so some partials which really did kick my arse into a great zone, my shoulder set like concert and the only relief I had was to hold them high up against the wall which help with the pump. Been glycogen loading for 2 full days because my body needed it and this morning I decided to rip my delts to bi. No pain in my cuff and I also increased my weights on all lifts. Had no partner and wanted to go with halfs and quarter which works for me on delts. I'm not using any of the beyond failure methods such as forced/negatives/ RP or drops until I finish the prime I am doing, juts building the right environment and getting ready for some serious muscle growth.
abs
crunches
4 sets
hanging leg raises
4 sets

I'm not naming names but the person knows who this is related to
When your training at this advance level and pushing your body to limits to were its never been before you need to take adequate rest and make sure you repair your body and your CNS. These methods in this thread are for the advance trainer and these techniques are very brutal on your body so always makes sure you feed the growth and rest enough so you repair. You need to have explosive power and the correct mind set to recruit the maximum number of muscle fibers which are targeting and this requires you to have controlled aggression in the gym and with how you attack your training session. It is impossible to have this aggression if your over trained and have an abundance of catabolic hormones floating around your system. Make sure you rest enough, eat enough and you will enjoy new growth.

I finally recovered from my virus and was able to go full steam last wk. Good doms all round including calves. Feeling really motivated this wk cos I found a new gym that is very near my current one but with much better equipment. You might remember me mentioning that my current gym's heaviest db is 45lbs lol. So this new place has up to 120lbs. No big deal but it's definitely a step up. Will be starting there tomorrow for the first time. Can't wait.

I've been going no carbs after 2-3pm for about a week now (during PCT) and I was worried my energy levels would be shot, but not at all. I've kept my weight for the most part and getting very lean. I try to go to the gym late morning so at least I can carb load after the workout. Still putting down around 2,800-3,200 cals.
Workouts have been phenomenal under the HIIT routine and incorporation of forced reps and rest/pause is clearly beneficial. Strength feels just about equal to what it was during cycle and pumps are AMAZING. I can honesty say that I have NEVER had this much fun on PCT before

Cals should be increased during pct to around 500 over maintenance IMHO and establish a good solid maintenance diet, then around 4-6 weeks after pct then you can start tweaking things around, be very careful pct is a critical time and you need an abundance of cals to fight off the catabolic environment your in.

Ok I can easily fit another meal and shake in the daily mix. Thx for the tip. Typically I am miserable on PCT but feeling extremely good for some reason this time.

That's great your feeling good but your body will be in a catabolic state so it needs plenty of cals to support the new tissue, no dieting or changing anything except increase cals and try and establish a maintenance diet for the new tissue, once you have done this you will have more of a chance of keeping most of the quality gains you have built during your cycle. Carry on training HIT style because what built your new tissue will keep it the muscle but pull back on the intensity and have further rest days so your CNS fully recovers and you don't over train. Feeling good is a good sign so keep your ey on it and work with your body. Well done

Weird, had a similar convo with a manager in work today, bbing is not powerlifting etc you are there to activate the muscle growth rather than try and show off and lift the world

Dominoes can get a bit violent if you cheat bit like the chess championships lol
Shoulders and cardio tonight:
Started with rotor warm ups and light pressing warm up, then into the pain and swaet zone.
Db shoulder pressing for two hard slow sets of 110lb db's really was tough tonight, but rallied through it to burst my shoulders. Then dropped to 55lb dbs and burst some more the pain and shoulder muscles rushing blood dyg deep to kept going was class.
Then onto plates really pushed through the pain then repped them slow and hard was unreal
The front raises really stepped this up to heavy to push the boundaries was great really felt the pain and blood rush
Then side raises again same as above
Bb shrugs this is only something I've incorperated in the last week but since really concentrating the mind muscle connection this is one of my new fav exervises, i do love db shrugging but this is a nice new burn.
Cardio flat out and felt great
