I couldn't make it without my massage. Been going to chiropractors for years. They help, but nothing like massage.

I just watched Jon Wick! He is one of the ones that does his own stunts and live rounds! Love it.

Pretty much the same here. If it doesn't take a break for a day or two soon, I'll be able to bale grass next time I cut.

Same here. Been going about every 6-8 weeks for a couple of years or so. It amazing how much scar tissue and bound up muscle she got freed up.
90 minutes of deep tissue booked for tomorrow afternoon.

I go every month. Well, actually she comes to my house. She doesn't work in an office or clinic, she mobile. I can always tell when I have a "new issue" crop up. She'll make me sit straight up off that table. Lol. She found a sore spot last time right above the separation between my quad and hamstring, in my quad...good grief. But it's that good pain. I had her come once after two weeks and she really was able to do some good after having two sessions so close together. My next appointment is a week from today. Can't wait!!

What's up fellas and lady... finally got a session in very intense strong and short rest periods(15-20sec throughout) I was gasping for air but finished bis and tris in 20min

-- Hammer preachers off back of incline s/s skull crushers into presses
4w sets each limited rest almost like a RP after the first working set

    -- hammer curls
    2w heavy 3 drops
    S/S into one arm DB ext's - 1w 2 drops heavy

    -- EZ Bar curls(WG)
    4w sets
    S/S long cambered bar pushdowns
    3w sets w/4 drop sets
    - threw in rev curls w/straight bar until I was done pushdowns

Good stuff I was strong and the rest served me well

What's up everyone . Late post, been a "busy" day for me with comparisons to the rest lol.

Doc appointment, went as expected, he had no explanation for the opposite side pain. Said maybe stress from surgery, blood coming back to nerves. But basically guessing game.

He forgot tht he didn't prescribe a nerve blocker out of hospital, so he started me on GABAPENTIN or NERUOTIN . 300mg x 3 a day.

Been reading a lot today. Most people do find relief with this med. not sure I will or not. Wife took it before her surgery it didn't help. But not sure of dosage. Like my dad takes 100mg x 3 for sciatica.

Starting PT Monday. Not sure I really need it, but it will get me out of the house and doing something at least lol.

Anyways, that's about all for docs.

Here's a couple pics. Finally got the pics of the screws.

One of the guys here at work takes Neurontin for severe back pain. He said it took a little while to kick in, but it does give him relief.

Bad problems with the shoulder tonight. Couldn't even reach back to grab the bar for squats. Did lots of stretches and used the IR lamp. Feels pretty good at moment. I can reach back behind my back without much pain so I plan to sky up at 10 and haul @ss home to try to get in squats before my massage.

Morning, Song. When you do get to sleep, you should be in for a good rest! Just don't go to sleep at the wrong time.

Ok again can't multi quote lol.

To be clear it's just the screws and rods that were put in not the plastic vertebrae.

Ag yeah been reading it takes about a week or so, I hoping also that changes with dosages?

Nach guess same question would go for u? So I was reading about max dosage, cause while I was in hospital I could have sworn when they gave me some, they said it was max dose and was 900? But was reading a lot of people being on 2700 on average and 3600 was max? So maybe the hospital meant 900 was max at one time?

Nach how did u get on it? He wants me to try this and says if it doesn't work we will try lyrica.

Hmm, an amp of AP test suspension just fell into my leg. Guess I'll go see if I can get this shoulder to rotate enough to let me knock out some pre-massage squats. Probably will need to keep a trashcan handy.

BTW, Cape, how about keeping some of the humidity on your side of the line? It's f-in brutal right now.

I got a chance to speak with him this morning. He said he noticed a very gradual decrease in pain at first and thought the med was going to be a waste, but @ about 4 weeks he started feeling some noticeable relief.
Hope this med does you right, Sfla!!

Not that good, LOL. The wife requested some Chinese food so I got her some Kung Pao/Gong Bao chicken and I got some steamed veggies and chicken. Will probably have a bite or two of what she ordered.
I am planning on a medicinal shot of shine before I crash here in a bit.

Good massage, she worked my back over pretty good and went straight to work on the delts and pecs. I had sent her a text letting her know my shoulder was acting up. She said the left shoulder feels like there is a good bit of scar tissue/adhesion and she spent a good bit of time on it. The remainder of the time was spent on my quads. She did let out a "Holy shit" when she started on my quads then I told her I had just finished up squats earlier. I did get a passing grade from her on my hamstrings. Have been spending a bit of extra time stretching them so I'm glad she was abke to tell it.
Before I went for my massage I really busted my @ss.

    1 set of crunches
1 set of higher reps leg extensions (~ 40 reps).

    Squats:
    Dry bar- 1 x 20
    Plate/side- 1 x 20
    2 plates/side - 1 x 20
    3 plates/side - 1x15, 1x14
    2 plates/side- 1 x 20, 1 x 10
    Plate/side - 2 x 20

Seated calf raises w/ a double pump at the bottom -15 reps, drop, 11 reps, drop, 14+ reps w/ a hold until total failure.

55 very hot and sweaty minutes.

Just from all the nerve damage in my shoulder they prescribed it right away especially since I wasn't taking pain meds anymore ... it helps but I know I was on 2700-3600mgs/day as was my father... hit me up if you need to talk or want anymore info!

Haven't worked out in 2 weeks plus and haven't been keeping up with board.

    Sfla - heal quickly!
    Nach - congrats on certification!
    Marcus - be well!
AG - maybe rest that shoulder???

Grabbed a yoga class and it was just want I needed.

Good to take a hard look in the mirror too! I need to get my crap together....I look fatigued in face, muscle tone is awful. I should be able to start hitting gym more regularly.

    Hope everyone is doing awesome!

Yes sir. He has been studying for some tests at work and is doing well. Think he will have a bit more free time after those are done and I believe he is going on holiday soon?
There are 3 loves in my life: my wife, my English mastiffs, and my weightlifting....Man, my wife gets really pissed when I get the 3 confused...
