If you do extend all the way down you still should not be relaxing the bicep at all. Just like at the beginning of a leg extension you should be tensed before contraction. Bizz I'm the same as you, I rarely totally extend the elbow / bicep on any bicep movement. It just doesn't feel right to do so. Particularly on a movement such as preacher curls.
-
I do the same as Kel and Bizz are speaking of - I extend as far as possible yet keeping constant tension on the bicep(especially preachers) but I have to remind myself to keep my shoulders back and just bringing palms to shoulders rather than moving the elbow forward up to the chin... just my .02 on piggybacking off Kel
-
Chest - shoulder was definitely irritated but went and did some more comfortable weight instead of pushing too hard like that 6-8rep range tbh
- DB flys into presses s/s'd
2w(80s) 9/7 7/5 Drop(70s) 6/4+ forced reps
- hammer strength incline machine
Pyramided up to 3+1/4 plates for 7 drop(3plates) 5 drop 2+1/4 for 4 drop(2plts) 7
- decline hammer strength press
4plts 8 3pltsX2 8/6 drop 2+1/4plts 5 I was dead after this
- incline cables on bench s/s w/seated low to mid or as high as possible
3x 10-15 rep range
- unilateral hammer strength press for upper inner
2w @ 2+1/4 drop 2plts at around 8-12 rep range
Great pump and tearing of fibers it seems... I'm already sore so DOMS will be a MFer upon waking

Yes sir, I just got caught up on news while waking up. It looks like it is headed for Huntsville, Ala. I used to live in Decatur, many years ago, right across the Tennessee River from Huntsville. I would NOT want to be anywhere on the bridge when the storm gets up that way.
Hope y'all get minimal crap from it.
Really feel for all the people that have gotten slammed by storms recently. This had been an active season and it's still early. There are 3 loves in my life: my wife, my English mastiffs, and my weightlifting....Man, my wife gets really pissed when I get the 3 confused...

Hmm, interesting. Feel like shit/run down and I think I killed legs tonight.
1 set of crunches- ~ 145
Leg extensions - 2 w/u. Work- 32, rest pause, 8, rest pause, 4+ w/ a 10 count hold on the partial.
Hacks- 2 w/u, Work-14,rest pause, 4, rest pause, 3+. Was trying for 4 reps after the last rest pause, but had to hit the safeties. The weight on my second w/u set was 290#, so my legs seem to be getting a tad stronger. Working weight is slowly creeping up as well.
Reverse hacks- 1 w/u, Work- 13, rest pause, 3. Didn't pop the safeties on the rest pause, I just held the weight at the top which hurt very nicely.
Leg press- 1 w/u, Work1(feet wide)- 10, rest pause, 4. Dropped off some weight. Work2(feet narrow)- 10 reps. Dropped off a quarter/side and grabbed water and air. Work3 (feet narrow)- 14 reps.
Standing calf raises w/ a double pump at the top- Work1- 13, rest pause, 8, rest pause, 4. Dropped off some weight. Work2- 13, rest pause, 7,rest pause, 3
Seated leg curls- Work- 13, rest pause, 8, rest pause, 4.
61 minutes and legs are so fvcked! Think I may sit out in the sun for a while in the morning and relax for a bit.Last edited by almostgone; 09-10-2017 at 11:21 AM.

Was looking around a raw AAS supplier and just found new sh*t is out - trestolone enanthate and decanoate... quite interesting, but still very pricey - $50 /g.

Well, I'm running in my sleep. Legs are very trashed, so mission accomplished! Guess I'll go outside and hold down one of those weird recliners (gravity chairs?).
Cloudy and windy here but no rain, maybe I can catch a bit of UV.
Hope everyone that is affected by storm stays safe and was able to make preparations!
If I get some rest, I'll hit arms tonight since tomorrow is going to be a long day. There are 3 loves in my life: my wife, my English mastiffs, and my weightlifting....Man, my wife gets really pissed when I get the 3 confused...

I do. I joined this site to get in shape....and never thought about the benies-all this wonderful eye candy.
Even in this skinny fat phase...I've more defined legs then skinny Jean male model.
Interesting comment. GI tract is messed up big time and I've been able to connect directly to stress. B4 I thought it was only food. 🤷🏼*♀️🤦🏽*♀️
stress is killing me, slowly in my gut, posture, face, health! I am leaving for the gym in a few minutes. I don't care about how well I do....just that I am there. Sad state of affairs.

Man, I'm getting back on it tomorrow. Just had a weekend in Dublin (waiting for flight home) which has added to the unhealthiness of the last few weeks of holidays and other weekends away. Got drunk for the first time since some time last year. I'm happy to not really drink again really.
Training has been good though, strength getting back up to where it was pre contest.
Hope everyone is good.NO SOURCES GIVEN

Funny you agree on this as I was thinking all diet as well but stress is surely killing me, too! I'll pm u and let you know some things that happened are happening in my life but also I can't say I didn't bring on some of my own stress and it's really been eye opening with my BW recently... have you tried the magnesium Chelated that I told you about previously? I just reordered some more after not using for a while so I know it's helped me significantly in this area!
Like I said I'll pm you soon and we can hopefully figure out something that can help us both Ttys!Last edited by NACH3; 09-10-2017 at 01:33 PM. Reason: Added some thoughts

Sounds good BIB - hope you had a great time and are recovering well this has been a downfall of mine after not drinking for 10+ yrs tbh.. then caught myself in a bad situation yet going to come out on top as usual! Just tough sometimes as you may know or not know but I'm certainly getting the big picture of it all and the impact it can definitely have on ones mind!
Can't wait to see your progress again. Also, what's next as in competition for you, mate?

10 min stair master warmup after stretches. Around the world with min rest....shoulders, chest, back and bis. Decided on smith squats, sumo and lunges bc the squat racks where occupied....so I decided to go super deep on the squats
Lighter weights all around like discovery of my new low. :/
Endurance has suffered significantly and my body is just fatigued from inadequate rest.
Brutal. I'll be sore in a few hours.
I downed 60 fluid ounces in 35 minutes only 40 more to go! Lol

That's the main thing I was wondering was when you'd hop back on even tho I figured you'd do just as you preach(tho being in TRT is a sure advantage )
Sounds great BIB can't wait to pick your brain regarding going keto then introducing carbs on 4th or whichever day suits your body! Your a great asset to this thread and board period, mate!!!
-
As do I, Girly!!!
Yeah I've never taken this but also sounds like what I'm speaking of ... one can take it once or twice a day depending on what your body needs! Obviously, yiu would not need to take what I do lolol but try it please it may be the fix you need - it's helped me after my intestines were outside my body yet it was the only thing that helped once they put everything back inside

Good shit BIB - I like the 1:1 ratio if anything I may do a 1.5:1or 2:1.5 if running a SBC(short burst cycle) for 6wks
I've always kept my test high but your on Nebido which is different imho b/c how long the ester is you get that spike at the beginning you may think about adding some prop on the last leg b4 you drop it?? But really want to see what the cutting on deca does for you I've heard great things... fuller but may have to watch water at very end etc but your way more knowledgeable on this factor as I've not done it yet - what about an oral? Nothing or some drol backloaded may be a great thing if dieting and strength will be there!?
Plus I've always wanted to try and let the other compound do the work, also!
