Excellent new Marcus! Was getting worried about Nach so thanks for checking in! AG - work sleep, eat sleep, workout sleep - I don’t know how u keep this routine! Everyone keeping it real!!
Workout yesterday! Feeling today!
Intent was legs but unable to finish (fatigue) so switched to around the world (every muscle group at least once).
It would have been smarter to finish legs...I am very hurting all over! Ha!
Still got this eyes/sinus and lingering bronchitis :/ I’m needing ophthalmologist! :/
Happy Saturday!

Thank you, ma'am! Much better, except for eyes and energy level. Eyes look like I ran a yard rake through them and feel a bit frazzled. Very good sleep today, but need to do some mental housecleaning in the old brain bucket. Wicked GH dreams.
Got to lift tomorrow! Screws with my head when I miss a day or two.Last edited by almostgone; 11-28-2017 at 01:22 AM.

Definitely time for a pullback except for squats. Will stick to the same routine on those. Little bit of left shoulder pain, something going on with left trap over towards the spine, and I think the left hamstring/biceps femoris pain may actually be coming from l. piriformis? I noticed the pain/discomfort is up a tad higher when lying down, and if I cross my left foot over on top of my knee, it eases up a tad.
Massage Friday and I hope she wears me out and leaves me in a puddle. There are 3 loves in my life: my wife, my English mastiffs, and my weightlifting....Man, my wife gets really pissed when I get the 3 confused...

The battle between body and mind continues.
It was legs today and took my sets to were my body wanted to stop, its roughly were normal people stop when doing their sets lol. I felt sick and went white but managed to complete a decent workout but I couldn't awaken the rage inside of me to push into my growth zone. I just couldn't find the right key even though I used everything in my arsenal to search for it I was defeated and had to withdraw yet again.
I can say though the workout went well, took myself to were my body was struggling and wanted to stop and I completed all sets and reps in a very controlled fashion with exceptional form. My mind is and was my most powerful tool but the connection for the rage ive had for the last 32 yrs seems to be disconnected but its not for the lack of trying. I felt sick and didn't look so good after this workout and just sat in my car with my eyes shut listening to music.
I wont bore you with all the details but it went something like this
Leg ext
3 warm up sets
3 working sets all pyramiding the weight up
Leg press
2 feel sets - top end of the rep range with concentration on the descent
3 working sets I increasing the weight and pretty much time under tension
Squats
2 feel sets
3 working sets - same weight but deep arse the grass squats with mind full engaged with bracing
Pivot lunges holding weights
3 working sets nice and deep
lying leg curls
3 working sets top end rep range
Stiff leg deads
3 sets
standing calve raises
3 sets high rep range

Well, great leg day. Almost.
Extensions: 3 sets normal weight 15 ish reps
Squats: Hit normal weight for first time since hamstring tear. Slower than normal pyramid up to the one set. Racked it at eight. Felt good.
Verticals: 3 sets 12-15 piston like reps. Great burn.
Seated curls: 3 sets normal weight, 8-12 reps
Went to the kneeling one leg machine and it fell to shit. On second set with moderate weight my right hamstring this time took a shit. There's no doubt I've now torn this one as well. I'm sooooo pissed off. When it hit I yelled instinctively and my son who was on the second floor (I'm in basement remember) heard it and ran down. I've been icing it and resting. Wrapped it as well.
I am fucking beyond pissed off.
Called and the earliest I can see the Ortho is Friday morning. I also texted the PT guy from the last ham tear and asked if I could stop in and get his opinion. He's a good guy and we got along quite well. I'll see him at 1130 tomorrow.
I repeat. I am fucking beyond pissed off.

AG/Kel
I've been doing some research and speaking to some professionals regarding an enlarged heart and I wonder if you know of any studies or solid information if its possible to reduce the size of the left ventricle? I am talking about an athlete who has caused this issue not something what is hereditary.
I am getting mixed messages and wonder if you have any information across the pond what would shine some light of this condition?Last edited by marcus300; 11-29-2017 at 03:32 AM.
