I totally get that! I was just able start incorporating legs in again and knew from past experience I didn’t want to hit them full throttle so I tried to tone it down and concentrate on volume, mind-muscle connection, good quad contraction in squat and good squeeze in extensions at the end. Followed GH’s advice and just really focused on the contractions overall. Great workout but knew I was screwed when I was getting sore same day, haha. Plateaued and got really sore but did dial it back enough to be able to use the restroom without having to call for help, haha.
I love working out when they are still sore - that’s good stuff!
Sorry to hear work and life are so hectic. My job is toxic and it became quickly apparently how much of my life work occupies. Hope you see some reprieve soon.
