So, leg day as stated. Went downstairs not feeling that up to it but when does that ever matter?
5 minutes on bike
Seated leg curls: 3 working 12 ish reps. Always slow and controlled anymore
Dumbell Stiff's: 3 sets 15 reps or so with continuous tension
Squats: Worked up to one heavy set for 12 then back down a little for a set of 10.
Verticals: 3 working 15 reps or so
Dumbell static lunges: 2 sets 15 reps
Calves on vertical press (because that's where the weight currently was): 4 sets heavy 15 reps.
Really a super day when I did not expect it. Knee felt great. Strength was great. By the end I was getting dizzy getting up from calves on the vertical press. Can't wait to see how they feel tomorrow.

I had an excellent leg workout yesterday. I find it so easy to push with legs until I feel like I am absolutely dying. It is not the same with other body parts for some reason. One of the thing I have noticed is that I will need more days off between Leg and Back day. Doing legs on Tuesday and then Back on Thursday is not optimal and I can feel my hamstrings still not being fully recovered and deadlifts are suffering because of it.

I’m on a much needed break. Been REALLY struggling with digestive issues and dr may finally hooked me up with $$$ drug that is helping! So I’m giving myself a little flexibility in food choices and enjoying a few cocktails this week.
Did some free weights today, not focusing on any particular group finishing up with hiit treadmill. hoping next week I’ll be feeling up to getting back to regular sessions.
Hope all is well!

Just went down to train back but had to cut it short. Started with pulldowns and for some reason was feeling a slight pull/tightness in my left tricep where it ties into the lat. Stopped them and went to rows. Got up to moderate weight and started to feel it again so I ended the workout.
Trying to be smart for once and not push it into a possible injury....

I’ve never regretted working out. There’s physical benefit and for me a mental aspect. I’m happier with sense of accomplishment. consumption increases. I {mostly} make healthier food choices. My digestive system improves. I’m so thankful I joined a gym...best money ever spent!

Nice biceps workout. Digging the high volume. Went a little heavier today - 6 WS of 8 reps for all exercises and generally added a single or double drop on the final set.
Some abs & treadmill.
Starting my summer cycle this week.

Going to see, it could completely blow up in my face. I’m on cycle now & have asked GH to match a diet plan to support different workout plans.
For this morning, I hit chest, front & side Delts, then cardio. I’m fitting in some meals & will return later for triceps and abs and maybe more cardio.
I’m going to do something similar with splitting back & rear Delts, then returning later for biceps.
Think I’ll just give this a go a couple of days per week, see how my body responds & holds out & go from there.
How are you RC?

Doing great man, piss excellence every damn day!
I switched my diet up to mainly meat, cheese, and eggs during the week, and it has made a world of difference. I’m down to 168lbs and can see the outline of my abs. I didn’t know I even had them under the flab! Basically doing a 4-5 day no/low carb and then eating whatever I want on the weekends. It’s been working so going to keep it up.
What’s your cycle look like? And I’m jealous, maybe I’ll cycle again soon

Morning all!
Went in to see the ortho for a check up on my shoulder. It does feel better but I still get the odd day where it hurts for no reason. Actually the other day I swatted at a wasp and paid the price for it. Shoulder hurt for hours after that. Anyway, he put me under some hand stress and it showed improvement but still not near 100%. He strongly recommended I do the PRP (Platelet Rich Plasma) Injection. So, I've scheduled that for later in June.
He said they shoot for 2-4 cc's of platelets to be spun from blood in a centrifuge and then reinjected in the injured area. I asked why such a wide range (2-4) and he said it depends on the patients platelet level. Mine is mid-range so I'll be telling him to pull as much blood as possible to get the most platelets possible. At a thousand dollars for the procedure I want the most platelets possible dammit.
Hopefully this will help. I'd like to be able to get back to lateral work for delts in the future. Pressing is great but you start to miss the lateral work. He doesn't want me to do it yet as he's afraid it will just aggravate the injury.

Kelkel.
1G out of pocket!!!????
And I’m whining about $310 for 30 day prescription. Like that’s cutting into my shoe budget and its pedicure season!
My left shoulder has been bugging me so I’m ignoring it. Lateral work acerbates impingement so I drop weight and go very slow and I’m good with this.
Don’t push it! Hope you keep us posted on this treatment approach. It seems cutting edge.
