    CAD = coronary artery disease:

    Calcium Score Presence of CAD
    0 No evidence of CAD
    1-10 Minimal evidence of CAD
    11-100 Mild evidence of CAD
    101-400 Moderate evidence of CAD
Over 400 Extensive evidence of CAD

Doc basically said I'm pretty normal for my age and at my score treatment with a statin would be my choice. His suggestion is to do nothing and retest in a year. After all my recent reading on this I agree with that assessment. I'm also curious what effect the MK-7 (K-2) may have had on this score, but without a baseline I'll never know. I've also read that several Cardiac Associations recommend no treatment until the score is over 100.

The actual report (CT pics/video etc) is not available to me on line until Monday. If there's anything educational that I can post from it I'll try and do so. Anyway, I'm quite happy with this result. I was expecting much worse.

This info is fascinating! Thanks for sharing.

Seems like u live a healthy lifestyle and eat healthy unless you are posting photoshopped pic...lol.

Just kinda curious, are we talking 4” and taller? Sorry, long day, a touch too much wine, please forgive me.
    Hahaha.

Yes I have some insane heels (5”) for special occasions. I’ve been trying to switch up heel height bc my calf muscles are getting too tight. When I’m home, I’m in barefoot. I’m not home much. Lol

I do need to get into Ortho and give him a second chance.

    Hahaha.

Made slight mod - 2 meals vs 3 - and my body is responding nicely! back to weight where ppl think I’m slender / tiny in clothes.

I’ve adjusted goal weight to range bc cannot wrap head around a single number - joining this forum I’m so much more informed then general female population.

My goal range seems low and I’m ok with adjusting upward. I’ve got more fat to shred b4 make change. I am not exercising now for multiple reasons - some bad - but that’s life now and counter to this forums philosophy.

But it’s my life. So intermittent fasting seems game changer w/ more benes then willing to share now.

When get drop 7 - 10 more pounds, need to make more adjustments and start the maintenance . working out, imagine is going to be harder then if I just didn’t exercise and stay skinny fat. THATs NOT ME. lean with definition. Food is key and I’ve eliminated food that creates inflammation. It’s very hard to not eat standard diet.

And it’s my life I get to choose

    The nerve!

But in reality $85 is dirt cheap to establish a baseline calcium score. Probably a good idea for a lot of people here.

Yeah please do. To be limping around and in pain due to a meniscus is really crazy. Hope everything else is getting a little better as well, fingers crossed.

Wait, you’re suggesting those really aren’t pics of Kel? Do you know more than you’re letting on here? My day is ruined. Next you’ll tell me there is no Easter Bunny.

And please do be careful on those 5” heels . . .

Great big guy, fucking great. You always knew in the back of your head that things would be ok, as your a well oiled machine.
Well since starting the MK-7 you will be able to compare it with your next bloods in one year, unless you check these ones again before that.

Working out here for a couple of weeks as I’m visiting the company HQ. Always nice to be in a gym where you, at least on a Saturday afternoon, are by far the smallest guy. Very comforting

Eating some oats and a couple of eggs then off to the shop. I think some time on the treadmill and back stretching is on tap for today. Back is a tad tight from yesterday.

^^^ I've started doing the majority of my shoulder lifts on my Smith machine. It's about the only way I can safely hit presses unless I go with really high volume using baby d'bells.

I do have an appointment setup in May with an ortho specializing in surgery and sports medicine. Also, I have a strong desire to throat punch the crappy ortho that I feel
f-ed me on the ruptured bursa in that shoulder back in '07. I've set aside some HSA $$ for fresh imaging etc. and want to get a idea of WTF is going on in there.

Back in Bangalore after 2-weeks in San Francisco. I had to go for the yearly company kickoff and to renegotiate my contract. All things went well and the contract, I think, worked out really well. We had been stuck in this bind where if something happened while we were visiting back home we would not have health insurance as the one we got in this shithole covers nothing overseas (and barley anything in this country to be honest). With all that done we feel a bit safer. I might have to travel to Sweden again this year to cover that zone for work for a couple of months but not sure about that one yet.

Anyways, trying to stay on point with training as much as time allows at the moment as I sure most here knows, there are times when we just have to prioritize other things. I do get most of my training in though if I am being honest as it helps me to decompress.

Hope you guys are all doing well.

Agree. I love dumbell presses but hoisting heavy ones up is always what hurts, not the pressing itself.

    Legs yesterday:

    5 minutes on stationary bike

    (working sets)

Seated hamstring curls. 3 working 10-12 reps. Most with a pause at full contraction. Try that.
Vertical Press: 3 sets 15 ish reps mostly non-lock
T-Bar squats (my basement version of belt squats sans belt): 3 sets 10-15 reps
Dumbell one leg lunges: 3 sets 15 reps +
Standing calves: 4 sets light and higher reps. Still dealing with a little calf soreness so taking it easy.

Took a side quad pic about 1130pm last night. Not to shabby I guess:

First appointment at the physical medicine office today. They're still developing a treatment plant, but it seems part of my issue is related to pressure on the nerve from the C5 disc.
Have another appointment tomorrow. They also found some knotted tissue in my left arm that they're going to address, possibly an MRI tomorrow. If they don't do one the orthopedic surgeon will when I go see him, so I would just as soon get it done while I'm off work. They weren't prepared for the grip of my good arm. Dude asked me to squeeze his hand as hard as I could, do I did.

Anyway, finally some answers. Now, onto fixing this mess.

Edit: As much stretching as the musculoskeletal place at work had me doing, I'm surprised anything is pressing on a nerve, but anyway......

    Hi guys,

Not posted in the thread for a while. First things first. We evacuated India this past Sunday with two days notice as sentiments towards foreigners started changing dramatically. Not only towards white people, but anyone who does not look like them, think east Indians who look Chinese very much for lack of a better description. My wife got denied access to her own University as they would not allow foreigners in (She has worked there for 6-years now). We started having issues going to the grocery store and on and on. I got into a fight with a clerk at our usual grocery store because he said I looked sick, and his thermometer showed 89 degrees (Yes, that is 89 Fahrenheit). Trying to explain to this guy that his equipment clearly was not working did not help, and we needed food forced my hand. Since we left they have completely locked down the country and due to the education level of the police force they have been beating up people who left home (Among others two female doctors who answered a page from their hospital to hurry in to help) and one guy who tried to get milk (He died after the beating). It's a complete shit show! We managed to get the cat with us which was lucky or she would probably not have made it as no one can travel to feed the poor thing but this south Indian cat has adjusted to our temporary country of Sweden quite nicely. The approach in this country, which is spearheaded by scientists and others with expert knowledge and not politicians, seems very reasonable thus far and something I can live with. The bottom line is that we feel physically safe, and at this moment in time, that is all I can ask for.

Not trained for a couple of weeks, but that seems like a small price to pay.

I hope you guys are all staying safe!

Dude.....I am SO glad y'all and the cat are settled in a safe haven.

Your wife's University needs to be held accountable for starters; as an employer they have a measure of responsibility for their employees.

As far as the rest of the mob mentality and police action, I understand that is a different culture with different ideals, but once it gets to that level it is about 1 step from total chaos and you've experienced first hand what it like albeit on a less intense level.

Again, I'm relieved to hear y'all and the cat are safe. Have been wondering how bad it was getting there. The las I heard, Kai was trying to go off grid if possible?

Take care, stay safe, and please keep us updated!

Glad you are well Tarmyg. It's sad to see society break down like that. Yes, Covid-19 is dangerous and people are dying, but the 24-7 news and social media coverage is making it exponentially worse, imho.
