Hey Marcus, do you change up your rest intervals much? Lets say you have been doing strict HIT training for 6 weeks or so with 1 min rest intervals and you are starting to fatigue a bit, would you increase your rest for a week or more before returning to the 1 min rest periods?

Gonna get mad cholesterol dude. Eat tuna, and chicken breast (mixed), instead of whole eggs (I assume you don't seperate the egg yolk so you don't waste any high biological protein, but you'll get as much eating a proporcional dose of white meat and fish protein together, and it won't harm your health, plus it will add some calories, if you want to bulk)

Pretty sure it was proven that whole eggs don't add all the bad cholesterol like previously thought.

Around the 6 week mark I change things around a bit to help with recovery, I normally take longer rest intervals and also pull back on the intensity, otherwise I burn out so recovery and rest for around 1-2 weeks then adjust things up again. Sometimes the 1 min rest is very hard especially on the heavy basic lifts but eventually it does get better and your body will adapt.

Pulling back on the intensity this week, just giving my body a little bit of extra time to recover and give myself a break.

Trained back today and was very basic no dropsettting, forced or negs just plain old heavy weight but didnt go to failure or beyond. Felt really strong on some lifts maybe it was the extra rest inbetween sets what gave me more power.

Is this a planned rest or you just listening to your body ? Do you "deload" ?

Another carb cycling question I'm afraid; do you constantly adjust and decrease carbs / calories as your body composition changes over the weeks?

My body is telling me to take a step back for a week or so, you can't keep putting your body though this wk in wk out. It's time to drop the extra intense methods and just repair and recover.

I adjust all the time sometimes I will run a few more low carbs days and others I will increase my high carbs days to more than one. All depends on how I feel and look. I carb cycle weather I'm cutting or building so I'm constantly messing around with my diet.

Marcus: how do you cycle carbs while bulking ? I can see why less carbs on none training days would be beneficial, or am I on the wrong track?

I usually hit around 500 over my TDEE and cycle carbs, I will also increase the high carb days to more than one, many times it will go to 2-3 then adjust again. After one week I will adjust again depending how I feel and look, some days I am more carb sensitive than others but on none training days my carbs are on my low days. Just hit your overall cals over your TDEE I usually hit around 500+ but I am constantly changing depends how I feel..As you learn more about your body and how it responds you will know when to increase the meals. Another thing I use to do was force feed while on cycle, if I was on a huge bulk force feeding is a great way to force your body into growth 24/7 feeding goes a long way imho. Once you have built new tissue you aim is to maintain and don't burn it away with these stupid restricting diets, at all times no matter what your doing is to keep hold of that muscle, its precious so dont do anything stupid where you burn tissue. Slowly slowly will win the game

Eating 24/7 and getting as much food in as possible while on cycle, yes added bf will occur but the amount of muscle gained is amazing. It is also very hard to eat like this but when you do it over a 24hr peroid it does get easier, also clean cals is a bitch

Hi Cape - Been working hard but also been getting in the gym. Training is really going well but no forced or negs at the moment because I am resting my body for a couple of weeks to repair my CNS and some injuries what are starting to appear. Eating clean and things are going well, my bf is dropping slowly and i'm looking more muscular

i don't find it hard to eat large amounts of food although i think im a lil carb sensitive so will be upping the carbs slowly for the 1st few weeks..

just started my 1st cycle today, going to be feeding 24/7 (every 3 hours), check it out if you want:

just wondering on what your thoughts on b12 injectables are?? i got myself 30mls from ar-r

i heard that it gives you energy and increases appetite, neither of which i need help with... so you think it would be a waste?

or should i just give it a go and see if it makes a difference??

I used b12 injections at 1000mcg while on bulking cycles for years, it gave me an edge to eat loads of food and added to my well being, great product for bulking cycles imho and will work wonders
