It does take some time for PT...seems excruciating longer for impatient ppl like me!
I’m very happy with were I’m at and really need to start working out. My temp digs haven’t opened gyms so doing alternative outdoor activities on weekends. Yesterday canoeing was totally fun and Very much feeling it today!!

Well, we have started planning for our move back in June/July timeframe. Narrowed down where we want to live in Upstate NY (Looking at a town called Pittsford as it got the best school distric in the state) and I'm enjoying the idea of buying a new house. Will be about 2h away from my wifes parents who are both in their mid 80s and her dad got bad dementia so we have to be able to help out. My parents are Ok thus far (and much younger) so no worries there yet. Things can change still but at least we are, theroretically, moving in the right direction.
Hope you guys are all doing ok!

Running a smaller cycle at the moment as I am trying to burn off fat. Lost about 15lb in the past 4-weeks so things are going well. Skipping all extra "fat" burners this time around as, from my perspective, am not noticing much of a difference. I'm sure if I was 7-8% BF and was trying to go sub 5% there might be some benefit but I think I have relied to much on this before instead of a great diet and I seem to be correct in that assumption 4-weeks in. I'll post some before and after when I am done. I am going to look small but yeah, light at least.

I did add a filter to this one but my veins are coming back in like crazy. I always happy when I see veins in my stomach in the end. Yes, it is important

Shit Girly, hope it not to bad. I had bother with my knee caps years ago when i was a runner. Physio said i never had good muscle/strength around my knee caps.
She said they slide up and down a track and mines were really slack and this was where the pain was coming from.
I had them taped and did some exercises she showed me, it worked a wee bit.Last edited by clarky.; 09-30-2020 at 11:24 AM.

So you guys and by what I see, ladies like the HIT approach? I love it myself, really effective and one heck of a time saver.
I sympathize with the knee issues, don’t squat now because of them.

Continued PT exercises. This is taking so dang long.

OK, I won’t then, but why bring it up? Is there an administrator or somebody here that I can check with to see if I’ve violated any rules or something? Although I am not worried, I just want to check. It says that you are a monitor.
When we want to find out about somebody we hire out a really good private investigator. They’ve really helped us in the past. Have you considered that if you have concerns?
Just added: ok, sent a message to administration to see if I’ve broken some rules. For the life of me, I don’t think I have, although I did post my opinions on that other thread.Last edited by wango; 10-02-2020 at 11:23 AM.

Still rehabbing. A little progress. Not really like multiple sets of high volume @ low weights, but that seems to be the answer; for the upper body anyway.

Thanks, Tarmyg. I will say it's been a long and humbling experience so far.
The Dr. that works with me @ the physical therapy sessions is a PL'er so that has made it interesting. There are 3 loves in my life: my wife, my English mastiffs, and my weightlifting....Man, my wife gets really pissed when I get the 3 confused...

Off to the shop for more of the same volume, then time to get ready for work.

Was doing some travelling and took about 12-13 days off from the gym. Started back on Monday. I just hate going away like that as your diet goes to total crap. But anyway, got through it and glad to be back eating normally and training.
Got some leg work in yesterday:
5 min stationary bike to warm up knees
Seated leg curls: 3 working 10-12 reps all with absolute pause at the top. Try them this way.
Vertical Press: 3 working 15 ish reps. Slow and controlled.
Squats: 3 working (albeit lighter than normal) 10-15 reps.
Calf crap: Standing and seated.
Lined up my next series of knee injections for the next three Tuesdays. That's the only issue with Hyaluronic Acid injections is that it's three injections per each knee so it requires 3 visits a week apart. Only good thing is the Ortho opened up a new office literally 5 minutes from my house so it's a plus. Zilretta is only one injection but my ortho, who I trust, wants me to rotate a bit so I'm taking his advice.
Better bodies through science, right?

Absolutely on the better bodies through science. Sounds like the idea of rotating them should give you relief over a longer period of time.
Double bonus with the close location! The only thing 5 minutes from my house is a weigh station for the hunters and fishing guys to check in their kills/catches and at the same intersection there's an old man selling roasted or boiled peanuts from a trailer he pulls around ( I suspect he also may sell a little corn liquor as well). There are 3 loves in my life: my wife, my English mastiffs, and my weightlifting....Man, my wife gets really pissed when I get the 3 confused...
