Doing alright all things considered. Waiting to get back into the swing of things once the shoulders calm down from the full shoulder replacements. Yeah both sides.

Family is good, always keeping me busy and creating new challenges. lol

I never though about that, using black sheets. Damn good idea. Not that I am in need right now or for a while but something to keep in mind. Actually, due to my bed being full with multiple pvssys every night (I mean cats) that is still a good idea. Hate seeing all the stray cat hair and the wife always questions me when she finds a strange long black hair in the bed even though she has long black hair. It must be a Filipino thing. lol

Damn you are really looking good and ready for your comp. Ive heard the last 3 or so days before are the hardest mentally and physically because you are constantly worried about not being lean enough. Dont let it psych you out. You look great.

HAWs forever my man mine is as feisty and perfect as ever. Double shoulder replacement well goddamn man I can’t even imagine. Hang in there recover as your body allows. We ain’t getting any younger - I’m pushing 46 myself now… was 28 when I joined this forum. Time flies but we’re not done just yet

    **Marcus's HIT Dungeon**

Have an InBody scheduled this morning. Last one I took was almost a year ago to the date.. was 185.6 at 11.1% bf

    This was 10/23/21

This is just now at 155.0. Any guesses on current bf%? I’m thinking 7-8?

Never in the world did I ever think I’d achieve this. Dude didn’t even charge me for the Inbody, he said it’s the lowest he’s ever seen, great job, and good luck this weekend

3%. Said I may have skewed it a bit by having a meal pre test and that I was supposed to do it fasted. My LBM is only .5 lbs off from my weigh in at home this morning so he said there’s a chance I’m even 2.8/2.9. I said I’ll take 3%

Damn, BMI of 26% and bf% of 3!!! Ok, you've got a lot of lean tissue!!!!

GGR, don't read the next portion of this!!!!!

Like Kel said, be careful at that level. If you fart, I fear you may implode!!!

    Really, really excellent work, Igi.
Looks like you've been out in the sun a good bit? Don't forget that sunscreen, especially the forehead and ears.

Hope you get to post up a spray tan photo!

Haha love it, Cape, and thank you. It was such an amazing process, and I had zero nerves leading up to it, backstage, or on stage, I was really all smiles. Was waiting for the nerves to come, and they just never did, just had a ton of fun, I knew I brought my best, and I just felt like I already won the whole time.

Honestly, didn’t even look at my competition, and was unaware of who I was even on stage with until I was competing for the overall.

Really learned a lot during this whole thing not only about the process, but about myself, the whole thing was truly life-changing, contemplating on whether or not to move on to nationals.

Definitely a decision between the wife and I, I need her to be all in as well, and she was very involved throughout the process and, as difficult as it is, I’m not sure I could do it without her support.

At 45, this isn’t the most healthy process in the world, and I need to take that into consideration as well. Lots to think about over the next couple of weeks but for now, off to the sanctuary!!

Thx! It’s been a humbling experience to get close and rebound half way back, twice! My journey revealed truths - processed food is poison to me!

Healthier hair, Thicker nails, Brighter skin

    reverse aging

Will settle into maintenance thru holidays which seems to be weight loss portions, take full body measurements and add booty, arms to core workout plus cross train with yoga, spin, lifts. Nothing too crazy to prolong TKR until locate that tiny girly knee prosthesis!

I thank knee injury to force me to eat super clean! And abs are made in kitchen w/food scale!

    Appreciate the !!!

Just got the official nod from the wife to take a run at national competition next year. Thinking last week of August, which means improvement season from now to end of April (5 months or 20 weeks) and then prep from May to end of Aug (4 months or 16 weeks).

Plan to stay pretty lean throughout and eat meticulously through the process. Cheat meals occasionally during improvement season but prob only during the first 3-4 months of it then just do what coach says.

I’m excited and back to work effective immediately. Lots of work/improvements to make. Legs need some size, back needs some density and upper lat width, chest/shoulders need some size to help create the illusion of a smaller waist (short guy issues)

Really excited to hear this, Igi. Please document what you can (I know your time will be limited).
Honestly, from my inexperienced eyes, for your prep y'all just do what you did before because you did an awesome job !!!!!

Thanks AG. Hopefully it will be a bit easier along with a longer prep but we’ll see. I agree though, same or similar methodology should yield good results. Anxious to make some improvements!!

Not sure how good you are at logging but a detailed nutrition log during that 20-weeks would be super interesting.

tarmyg consider it done and would be happy to share. Already on phase 2 of the reverse diet and will be meticulously tracking along the way, but as it relates to the prep itself, assuming that’s what you’re interested in, I’ll definitely be doing that and can log here
