What's everyone working today? I'm looking forward to getting home, fueling up and hitting shoulders later.

Bis, tris, and forearms...hopefully this morning if I get off of work on time, otherwise it will be this evening.

destroyed shoulder yesterday, no cuff pain so when at it hard. No training partner so when with drops on everything and kept very strict form concentrating on the negative and contraction...

Did back today - Hit thickness yet again first ergggg, plated some big lifts up especially on the rowing and again did drops due to no partner. Back felt good and very pumped. Had some guys trying to talk but fuked them off said I needed to train

Okay so I hit my back workout today the Marcus way. I'll say right now I didn't finish, planned on doing deads at end but lower back was pumped.

Started with a warm up and some chins.

Straight arm pulldowns superseded with lat pulldowns. One feel set and the 2nd and third were drop sets, lat pulldown only.

BB Rows, one feel and one working set with double drop.

Neutral row (machine) same as BB Row

Wide grip cable row, two feel sets and one working with rest pause.

    I'm done!

I know what you're saying about not finishing. There have been a few times where I fully intend to finish with deads but the back pump is so severe there is just no way. Sounds like you crushed it anyway.

Killed back and triceps. Tried the laying dumbbell triceps extensions and liked them.

One gripe I have about HIT training. I'm outgrowing my gym really fast.

Marcus and company. May I interrupt your half man/half beast party with a girl question?

I may be wrong but seems most men, not all, recommend training whole body in a week/rarely hitting same muscles twice in the same week.

For gals like me, wanting to lean out (think bikini not the BB gal) would you suggest something different? My thought is I may want to hit a weakness (as Kel likes to say) twice in a week or even structure a program where I hit on muscle groups more then once per week.

    What would u recommend?

Hey GGR! We welcome your interruption anytime.

I think that, of you've identified a weak area and want to focus on it and work it more than once in a week, that is fine.

The BB standard seems to be once in a week due to the extreme stress we're putting our muscles through.

If your goals can be met without putting that much stress on your fast twitch type 2b fibers, then you're repair process may be faster.

Now, this may also be contingent on your diet and the amount of muscle repair you get from protein intake etc., but those are my general thoughts.

I'm sure others will chime in.

I agree. If the overload on the muscle is not taken to the extreme i.e. beyond failure sets I wouldn't see a problem with hitting a muscle group every 3-4 days if you are merely just "toning" the muscle and not trying to build ridiculous amounts of mass.

I didn't make it in today either, but probably a good thing - pretty tired after travelling and had fun spending time with the wife and kids doing some more xmas lights.

Made it home early afternoon today. What a crazy week/weekend with the weather.
