It is strange. To be honest, it is probably more like a 4% difference. My left triceps is a little bigger but my left arm has a much bigger skin fold whereas my right doesn't have much of a skin fold at all. My right arm has road map-ish vascularity and my left arm has probably 1/4 of the vascularity of my right.
If I can get a good pic that shows what I'm talking about I will post it.
Thanks for your help Marcus.

did delts and triceps today. was disappointed with my first working set of db shoulder press and felt like I could have done more, so I added a second working set. This is the first time I've done more than one working set since starting HIT. It really helped me to feel like I had totally exhausted the muscle so I added a second working set to a couple of my other lifts. I don't think I will do it every time, but it seems to get me past that feeling of not having taken the muscle to complete failure.

If you didn't feel like it was the best you could do a 2nd working set will be fine, just try and get your head into that one set to failure approach but doing that now and again isn't a problem, I do the same if for some reason I didn't hit my sweet spot were my eye balls shake.

Legs yesterday. All straight sets today.
Extensions: Two sets to failure, moderate reps.
Vertical press: Two heavy. Got my heaviest weight on these today and could do more. I swear it's harder to un-rack and rack the weight than to do the exercise.
One leg lunge on smith: Two sets, pretty heavy 12-15 reps
Seated leg curls: Two sets, heavy.
Calves: Did something different. Didn't feel like loading up the vertical press as moving the plates around gets old. It was already about half-way where I needed it to be so I tried them one leg at a time. Worked great, great feel. Will do them again soon. Two sets, moderate reps.
Seated's: Two sets, heavy. Cramping up here.
Non-squat day today. Had to force myself to skip them to give my back a break.

thanks, marcus. that's where I was at. I didn't have a spot on the first set and failed after 6 reps at a weight I can usually do for 8 or 9 when I have a spot to slightly help me through one sticking spot. Even after a drop, I just felt like that first set (a) wasn't my best effort and (b) didn't push the muscle to total failure. Usually one set is more than enough to convince me that I don't want or need a second.

May be before a lot of your "time" but Vince Comerford passed away. Had a heart attack in the gym.

Insert muscular development in place of the asterisks..
Don't know if the link will survive the filter but you can find it on Muscular Development . com if it doesn't. I was in attendance the night he won his pro card at nationals. Shawn Ray won the overall. Great contest in A.C.Last edited by kelkel; 04-17-2014 at 10:01 AM.

Probably a good call, Kel. As I share your sick affinity for squats, I know how difficult it is to back off them. It's almost like a sense of guilt - like it wasn't a real workout without squats. On the other hand, every time I take a break from them for a week or two, I come back much stronger.

leg day yesterday was awesome. Sometimes it takes a few good leg workouts to make me look forward to them again. Got back to where i was on squats before I strained my back a couple weeks ago 2 warm up sets with 185x15 225X12 Then 3 working sets 315X8. Glad no one cares about grunts in my gym since my last set I was roaring like a lion.
Finished off with 3 sets of leg extensions, 3 sets of leg curls, and some calf work

Ok so heres a new one for me. This morning was cardio. Tnight going back for some shoulders. But since it was slow this morning I finally got a chance to jump on the stairs. Did 20 min on intervals, then got off and wanted to do 15 mins more on the treadmill on inclines.
probably a minute and a half to two mins into the treadmill. Was on about 5% incline. My quads locked up completely. Both of them. Couldn't bend them or even walked lol. Managed to get to a bench and stretch them out but took 10 mins before I could bend.
Are these pumps causing this? I did have stomach issues last night and this morning lol. possible dehydration?

^^^ are you on cycle? Try hydrating more. Possibly supplement with taurine 5-6 grams an hour before cardio. Maybe even add a potassium/magnesium supplement

Today is looking like a rest day. Doms are just kicking in from leg day the day before yesterday. Chest day was yesterday.
DB incline 4X8(last 2 reps of last 2 sets were forced)
Incline cable fly 3x12
Low cable flys 3x10
DB flat bench 3 sets 8 (was already gassed here 80lb dumbells when I'm normally working with 100)
Rope press downs 3x8
close grip bench 3X8
DB pullovers 3x8
4 sets pushups to failure
done in about 45 minutes
I have about 6 more lbs of fat to lose then I can stop these volume workouts and get back to lifting heavy. And take a minute between sets. I know its not about the weight, but sometimes I forget that when my training is bordering on cardio and sweat pours off of me and I don't have the gas to push heavy weight

Yes on cycle. Have 4 pins left of tren ace. And gonna run my test e for another 4 weeks. Been doing cardio the whole cycle. Ill try some taurine. But like I said the stomach issues probably had something to do with it.
Last time I took potassium as a supplement with a clen cycle. Was in the hospital at one point for unrelated reasons, and they told me my potassium was way too high and to stop taking. So I never took again.

Marcus,
I'm fukked.
I've been so ill, and so much shit has happened to me, I'm 195 now, down 55 lbs. All that friggin hard gym work down the crapper. But on the positive side, I think all the illness is behind me, so the only way I can really look at my situation is like one big challenge to get back to my former self.
And I'm home now, and just renewed my membership at the gym. This is going to be a long road back to recovery.
