Very true
That was me in my younger days
I'd spoil the back piece if I had anymore done, it give the illusion of me being bigger and wider than I am lol . Chest stuff then arm work - its a form of self harm for me
What the fuk??????? why haven't you been doing this from day one of this thread Mr Clarky??? welcome to the Marcus zone and the world of pain. Lets see some workouts and we can coast you through them
Sorry to hear this and for me this would be very hard to cope with, if your back home and well again then all I can say is muscle memory is a remarkable thing and if you train in a fashion what will stimulate as much as possible and you eat correctly those 55 lbs will soon be back on. Concentrate on the bigger lifts and movements plenty of compound work to failure, ive seen this happen before with many friends of mine. Wont take long stick with those heavy lifts and go to failure and eat and eat- 12 week time and things will be different.

How far do y'all push yourselves before you start wearing elbow and/or knee sleeves? I've worn the old generic Mueller elbow sleeves in the past, but noticed that neoprene sleeves seem to be popular and my elbow sleeves have gotten fairly dilapidated. Also, I've been getting a tad of discomfort @ the inside of my knees during hacks. I do these on my leg sled so I can hit the safeties if my knees crap out before my mind does. The discomfort is minimal and could be a flexibility issue, but I'd like to have sleeves on hand prior to actually needing them.
I believe Kel or someone mentioned Tru-fit???....
Grassy ass/Gracias for feedback. It's much appreciated.Last edited by almostgone; 04-20-2014 at 05:27 AM.

I bought a pair of neoprene sleeves off of Amazon several months ago due to knee stability issues when squatting/leg pressing heavy. They are interchangeable for elbows and knees. Honestly, I don't squat or press heavy without them anymore. The added heat and stability make a world of difference.

Thanks, DD! Sounds like your sleeves are adjustable vs. a fixed/sleeve...???.. I'll look around on Amazon tonight.

it's strange. while in the 'stan, I'd eat like a horse and still lose weight. but that's all behind me now. muscle memory is a good thing. on a humorous note, I'm probably well positioned for a "best improvement" contest right about now...... =)
thanks for the encouragement mate!

My knees talk to me. Usually after a warmup set i can tell if im going to need the compression or not. A simple good tight ace bandage seems to work best for me but ive gotten lazy and bought neoprene. Can anyone tell me the benefit of the exposed kneecap?

took the long weekend off and felt kind of lazy, but came back and DESTROYED chest and biceps this morning.
Decline
DB incline
flys
straight bar preacher curls
incline db curls
hammer curls
The princess came and spotted me and I was totally in the zone. didn't even notice anyone else had showed up to the gym until later. Realized I was making quite a bit of noise. I'm afraid HIT has turned me into one of "those guys". Fvck it - I'm not there to win a beauty contest or play the quiet game.

Slowly on a calorie increase again. Vascularity is still sharp even tho I'm a complete fat ass in the midsection haha. Trying to keep the lean bulk going. Not training HIT at the moment but still training much harder than anyone else in my gym which is not saying much. 500mg of test and I just feel normal. Not sure what the future holds. Zero cardio but I never do anyway. Overall things are good.

Does anyone know if it is legal to carry my TRT testosterone with prescription with me from Europe to the US ? Should i expect problems with airport customs ? From what i understand european prescriptions are not valid in the US, but if i would be a tourist on TRT it would seem silly to not be allowed to take my prescribed medicine, whatever it may be.

Back tonight, wasn't great but made the best of it. Its crazy how busy Mondays are at my gym. Everything wanted to do someone was on it. But got a descent pump going either way.
Side note....giving blood question on cycle. How often should it be done? And when u get blood work is that sufficient enough or not? Also does it make a difference if you give blood right after a workout? Giving blood on cycle keeps your blood from thickening am I correct ? Always do my cycle blood work but have never gave blood before....but always hear everyone say u should.

I have been donating to keep my hematocrit down. Mine has always been @ or above the upper end of the range. The blood bank @ the hospital will only draw every 2 months. Kel or some of the other TRT gurus can give you a better answer than mine. There is a list of blood work posted in the TRT forum in the "Finding a Dr." It's a sticky @ the top of the forum. It's kind of extensive... Not sure if it's overkill if you're checking on your recovery post-PCT...???

Right shoulder fvcked it was ok yesterday then today really sore. I've had this before but never went to the pysio/doc just rested it and it went away it's really painful if i move it in any direction.
When it happened before it was when doing front lat raises so as i said i rested shoulders for wks and it went away. I did do shoulders the others day (HIT) aswell there was no pain then but now very sore.
Was hoping to start my cycle this wk to can't see it now been waiting months on this dam.

Have you tried applying icepacks, Clarky? If not I would try icing it and hitting the nsaids. If that doesn't help, you might want to have your Dr.examine it.
I get sore from a good lift but if the pain drags on for more than 4-5 days, I generally go see the Dr.There are 3 loves in my life: my wife, my English mastiffs, and my weightlifting....Man, my wife gets really pissed when I get the 3 confused...

Arms. Pumps are so full and so damn painful I have to be doing something right. Or at least I'm faking it well. Up over 4 lbs. Positive movement over the last 2-3 weeks.

I think you fvckers have given me some kind of sickness. I did legs this morning and crawled out of the gym. I actually broke blood vessels in my eyes. As I was struggling just to stand up in the shower, I realized that I was pissed off at myself and thinking I could have tried harder and gone a little deeper on my last squat.

Last 2 days have been brutal. Dropped my carbs to about 1/3 my normal intake, and energy levels have been tanked by the last couple movements in my session. Gonna have to try another approach to keep my training top notch.

From this point I'm gonna go the easier route. Gonna drop the whole milk from my waking shake, drop 1 of my 4 cups of oats ( may be added back depending on my energy levels) then see how things go. I may see a quick change just by adding the cardio seeing as its the first I've done in a couple years.
