Lol....I'll fix it this morning. The wife did take the pic though. I took a pic when I finished assembling it and was going to post it up on break, but I fat fingered it and deleted by accident, so she took another pic and shot it to me.

Delts and arms today, and I'm feeling great! Stepped on the scales this morning, which I've been avoiding lately, and body weight hasn't changed in weeks but the fat keeps coming down.

Been a long while since I've had the option to do these 2 exercises; looking forward to adding them in.

....and I just noticed the seat back is slightly out of square. Will fix that this morning.
I picked up that same leg setup used on craigslist about a month ago. Pretty decent setup. Only thing that sucks is having to change the plates a lot cause my wife uses it also, but it works great until I can affor a cable setup !

I kinda like the plate loaded machines vs. the selectorized stack...less complex/less worries. I'm not totally against cables though. I have cables @ high and low pulleys on my Smith machine.
That particular leg ext./curl machine was one of the heavier ones I found in that style. I haven't test driven it yet, but the welds, gauge of metal, and overall fit and finish impressed me.

For those of you that eat flank steak, Sam's has a case price on it. It saved me about $2.50 a lb. .... 66.9# cost $413.44 sans tax; on to the chicken case next!

Maybe you could split a case w/ someone??? One of the guys @ work that lifts offered me $20 to split a case with him. LOL, I wouldn't feel right charging him to split a case, but I told him he could go along and carry the box if he wants.

Did my first real session since joining my new gym.
Did legs. Normal routine. Great workout, hurts like hell.

Something I observed, two squat racks in the gym, both were empty. The Smith machines were full, as was the leg press. Good thing I do squats.

Another thing, a few guys walking around, pretty large in the upper body. Like, I'd be happy if I were there size (I'm still a little guy).. anyways, these guys have chicken legs! Like, possibly no larger than mine. And I'm 6'1 185.

    Wtf

Standing side raises 1 working DD. Slight pain here

standing front raises 1 working 1 drop. Most pain here

Shoulder press 1 working DD really pushed hard here no pain till the last drop.

Bent over rear flys 1 working 1 drop. No pain

Traps 1 working front 1 working back DD front & back.

Gonna run this week as a well needed deload...gonna do one work set to failure with no drops or anything. I'm also gonna start training in the morning before work & see how it goes. Always wanted to but I thought it would be too loud in the garage at 4:15 am. Wife said go for it, hope I don't wake them up, lol!

For me, Clarky, it would depend on the severity of the pain and how much it limited my daily routine. I figure if it's impeding my work/activities, then I need to see the Dr.
However, I would continue with the broomstick stretches and RC exercises daily unless the Dr. advises differently. Also, I would have to gut the front raises or go very light with them? Front raises make my bad shoulder feel like it is trying to "cam/rotate" out of socket.

Sounds like you have a good wife, Chvl! I love lifting @ home. I lift whenever I can fit it into my schedule no matter what time it is....We're pretty rural so I can cuss and grunt as much as I need to.

Today yes. Normally the DOMS don't really set in till the second day for me, but then I typically hobble like I've been gang raped.

Time for a week off. Right rear delt a bit irritated and I tweaked my hamstring last leg day. Got done quads and hams and immediately went to one-leg vertical toe presses for calves with no rest. My hamstring did not like the no rest part and seized up a bit. Tweak, cramp, whatever it was it hurt for several days. Almost better now but I'm listening to my body and haven't had a break in a while, so time for a little rest. More time to eat!

im taking a week off as well...too many things hurting right now especially my tendons connecting my biceps to my forearm they both are inflamed big time...it hurts sometimes to hold up the remote control so obviously a break is needed...getting old sucks...

Just got finished with one a few weeks ago. Took a full week off went back into training and decided I could use one more. Came back with a higher drive and more intensity than before, but I had been pushing hard since the first of the year with only one break in the middle.

Been there. Nothing feels right or hurts the way it should. It just hurts.

Yes, yes it does. But we must adapt and keep pushing. Change tactics, more rest days, brief but harder training, etc. I've found (and discussed here before) that EOD training has been the best thing I've done as I've aged.

Not very impressed with my session. Feeling pretty weak today. But I did get it done.

    Incline flyes-2 w/u, Work-5, drop, 2.5-drop-2-1.5
Smith incline press-1 w/u, Work-1.5-drop-2.5-drop-1-.5. Went with a fairly wide grip on these.
    Flat fly-2 w/u, Work-3,drop,2.5-1.5,drop, 1.5-.5
    Smith flat bench-1 w/u, Work-1.5-drop-3.5

Back tried to act stupid again. I was standing there looking at weights trying to get my mind right prior to lifting, kinda tensing up my core and the danged left spinal erector started spasming. Was able to stretch it out somewhat. Still think it and the twisting problem I'm having during deads are related?
Will get the wife to roll my back with a baseball in the morning. I have script for Nsaids (Voltaren) and muscle relaxers, but plan to stick with Nsaids for now.

Guys figure I would ask here. ...my most frequent thread and most knowledgeable.

Having trouble finding female hormone panel on pmd labs. Need to get bloods soon. And looking for a full panel. ..cbc, cmp, lipids, thyroid, free n total, and E2 sensitive. The links on docs thread don't work for me. And heard some use other services the pmd labs.

    labs
    .com/lp/Female_Hormone_Testing.php

I double lined it to get through the filter just put it together and add the www.

    Personal labs .com is another....

Or just google Private MD Labs Female Hormone Panel. It should come right up for you.
