Had a good end of week last week, great leg day sat with good shoulders. Works out of control but Im not letting it slow me down. Monday did my work out backwards and was sore to the touch. I put a little weight on while benching, my shoulder is feeling better so I think that had something to do with it also. Hit a good back work out, did lots of rear delt work with lat width, felt good and took it easy on my arm tendons with the less strenuous pulling.

I've got 99 problems......but my squat/dead ain't one !!
It doesnt matter how good looking she is, some where, some one is tired of her shit.

I hear ya, some people are just shitheads. Best person to rely on is yourself, you will always try to do what's best for you. I always needed a spot to get the heavier bells up, now I just mentally prepare myself for what's to come. I have failed to get them up a few times, but I am making progress mentally because each time I reset myself I forced them to go, I was not giving in. Don't get me wrong, the test is helping me break through these barriers for sure, but the mental breakthroughs will stay long after the test dose drops.
Agreed zempey....I just ask for a lift off. Even say I don't need the spot. I will push through them!! I control the weight once it's up. I tell myself I got it and go for it. Think that's the main thing from this thread. Is the mentality it gives you.
I nailed 6 reps with those 105's...PB. and I controlled them the entire time. Even when I went into failure. Feels f'in great.
I use the inzer ones on anything over 3 plates. The knee sleeves really don't give me the same feel as the wraps.Originally Posted by kelkel

I've got hassle coming from everywhere at the moment. Really can't post much but keep on it guys.
I have an old set that I wear sometimes, my left knee is getting worse with age so I was wrapping it on heavy sets. Just don't wrap it so tight, you must have that fuker on so tight to break veins, I used to crank the shit out of them back in the days of 5+ plates with no issues. I am going to start wrapping them on my 3 plate squats so I can focus on my back while going deep and not worry about my knees. I need to start working up in weight again, I miss that feeling of really heavy squats.
Leg day but took it easy and did some higher rep sets, I was feeling a bit run down today.
Squats: 1 feel, 3 working sets of 15 reps
Extensions: 3 working
Press: 3 working 15-18-20 kept it at 6 plates a side, legs had a nice pump and burn.
Leg curl: 3 sets.
Stand calf: 3 sets
Seated single calf press: 3 sets.
Hypers: 3 sets.
Kept all the weights down and tried to burn the muscle, was in need of a pullback workout especially after yesterdays snow removal fiasco. Shoulders tomorrow, should be recovered and feeling good enough to hit some weight. Going to load up on carbs and calories again today, weight is back up to 271 and hope to get it back to 275 by the weekend. Did my TDEE yesterday and it came in at 4700-5000, had never calculated it before, might need to try and force even more food down my gullet.
Shoulders tonight eatting pre workout food now and a coffee
if you buy them go through a reseller and not inzer directly. They are really slow with private parties.Originally Posted by kelkel
Have a question, I just recently started breaking out with a few pimples, but today when I got home from work I noticed what looks like many more popping up on my back. I have never had acne from juice before besides 1 or 2 random pimples. I just started deca on Mon, would this be causing it? I also lowered my adex to .5mg eod this week, would this cause it? I hasn't got bad yet, but I really don't want a ton of zits on my back.
Thanks AG. I'll give it another hard week as it's only legs feeling that way...think the barbell hacks are taking their toll on my lower back.Originally Posted by almostgone

I was just thinking the same as I looked in the gym mirror today post workout. I'm nearly the same condition i was at the peak of my first blast. Excited to see what happens when I start my second in about a month!Originally Posted by Bio-Active

Could be the change in your ai. I feel I break out a little when I change anything. After a few days my body adjusts and the acne dissipates.Originally Posted by zempey
Thanks, I will keep an eye on it. My cycle is done next week then I am going on a trt cruise dose.
2 questions for ya'll:
1) what's your favorite pre-workout drink when you need a kick in the ass to tear things up in the gym? New work schedule is making it hard to get pumped.
2) when on a blast, as a rule of thumb, how much should you increase your caloric intake? I run about 3600-4000 at maintenance daily. I want to get this next blast dialed in perfectly.

Thanks Bioactive. I was under the impression cutting while blasting is a waste of the opportunity to grow under ideal conditions. Currently following Marcus' advice of going only slightly below maintenance for cutting to preserve muscle, and doing it now, before my blast starts. Slow process, but the abs are peaking out now more than usual; think I'm breaking them free from a life in hiding.Originally Posted by Bio-Active
My first blast gained me 20 mostly lean pounds. Hoping to do that again. Get me up to 240 at least. But After that blast, my bf slowly climbed. Think I took too long to return to maintenance cals.
Never considered using a blast to cut. Is it possible to gain and cut on a blast? (Gain less obviously). My TRT is 140/wk. I plan to add 500/wk on the blast for 12-14.

Drinking a prelift shake now. Whey, oats, l-arginine, and a few teaspoons of instant coffee, and part of a Pepsi Max.

It could be from any of that. Acne can pop up from any hormonal change, changing compounds, dosages, or going on or coming off cycle.
I can prob count the number of zits I've had in my life on one hand except for a random tren cycle made me break out. Ever since then I keep some isotretinoin on hand. A little bit goes a long way and no gains are worth having a pepperoni pizza back.
I'd have some major weight room gas with that mix!Originally Posted by almostgone

R/C exercises and broomstick stretches. Pullback lift for chest.
Incline flyes-2 w/u, Work1-9, drop weight. Work2-10
Incline press-2 w/u, Work1-10, drop weight, Work 2-9
Flat flyes- 1 w/u, Work 1-9, drop weight, Work2-11
Leaning d'bell flyes-7+ good reps per arm.
Believe when I go back to the full bore lifts I won't superset flyes and presses until I hit a sticking point with the weight.
29 minutes not including R/C exercises and stretches.

I'd love to say I tore it up tonight BUT! It was leg day. I lifted at home today instead of going to the gym. I usually leg press on leg day, can go fairly heavy. Since I stayed home, I squatted (can't go heavy for a bad back).
Went pretty light, but went very deep. Slow controlled reps. Finished with ham curls and extensions, some calf raises and a little ab work. Feel good about the session, just sucks that my bench workouts are substantially heavier then squats. Lol
