You bring this up at a great time! I know I can't do another rep but yesterday I finally got into that zone where no one but me could hear myself breathing! It truly is a whole different ball game!
I know I'll step mine up(more if possible - as if youse were they're) that's what I think about regardless! I know you or Kel would crack me over my head! Therefore, it's getting more real than ever!

Ive been doing HIT for a year or so now and i do really push myself, more than anyone in my gym and i am failing but i think its along process to learn true failure. Its so easy to just stop when the pain gets too much. I could sit and tell myself im at true failure all day but if im honest im not really there yet. But on a positive note im gettin ther and im a lot closer than a year ago.

I got all ready to hit the gym(legs) and just my mind set is off! But I've been at it since fri/sat/Sunday/Monday/may hit it later but just not feeling it... After reading that post from Marcus, I got all jacked up then the air came out & got deflated lol, but I'm watching some vids now.... May take the day, or if my mind gets more in line w/my muscles than surely I'll go in!
I've noticed that when taking a small dose of nolvadex (tiny lil lump I I never had) but very much under control... I just can't seem to gain as much weight atm... Strength is there, which matters, but I'm eating 7 meals again(high P/high C/low F)... I know nolvadex can slow gains(to an extent) since it's very early should I get ralox too and just run that?! Why ask I know this lol

05-19-2015, 12:26 PM #20811
how much nolva are you taking? 10mg ED?

Yup... Or in beginning I did two days at 20 and really alleviated most, but I know I have to continue, or go w/ralox?! It's not a really big deal, just after I ceased my NPP it actually came on... I'm getting BW this wk... I know my E2 seems to be if anything on the low side... So it's not prolactin I don't think either b/c I've been tapering down from .5 to now .25 a night then .175 then done

if you dont' feel you have a lump maybe try going without a SERM for a few days and slightly increase your AI? not enough to crash e2

Good man what lots of pros said they enjoy pulling back and taking a break they have learnt over the years it helps them a lot. Now it is different to us normal folk I'd imagine but they speak some sense.
Tonight was back of y3t training.
So it was 5 exercises and 4 sets of increasing weight at 8-10 reps per exercise.
Seriously cool set up the first two sets are like how Marcus describes his feeler sets and the last two sets are like the heavy weight sets really loved how the pump just exploded all the blood into my back.
Started with hammerstrength lat pull downs as above sets and rep wise. At the contraction you hold the weight and squeeze and then a 3 second count down on the negatve was really good.
The t bar rows same as above at this stage the blood was just insane the flow the pain the fcking endrophines where flying was really loving it and mind muscle connection was unreal.
Then rack pulls by this stage I could have fcking ran through a wall and burst through it with ease these sets where hard paces but the back muscles where on fire and the width was exploding.
Close grip d bar lat pull downs same as above was epic and the hold on the contraction was just out there sore.
To finish it was bent over lat pulls on the cable machine love these as a finisher.
This to me is a great change for something different but very similar to marcus' work outs its def in hit style imo.

Another good lift tonight, kind of warm though. 78°F and 85% humidity. Still coughing and hacking.
Incline d'bell curl-2 w/u, Work-12,drop,5-3-2.5.
Seated d'bell curl-1 w/u, Work-5,drop,3.5-3.5-2+.
Bent over cable CC-Work-5,drop,3.5-2.5+2 forced reps. 1 more rep on everything w/ right arm vs. left.
Seated hammer curl-Work-4.5,drop,3.5-3.
Triceps press down w/ rope handle-2 w/u, Work-5,drop,3.5,drop,4-3+.
Close grip Smythe-1 w/u, Work-8-4-2.5. Getting slightly stronger on these. Will try a heavier weight next time.
D'bell skulls- Work-5.5,drop,3+-3+ ( complete failure).
No kickbacks tonight. Was/am pretty much spent.
I did manage to do some long count biceps stretching. Very painful.
Really strong burn and a great pump. My arms are liking the slightly higher rep ranges. I plan to stick with it for arms for a little while.
42 minutes not including the stretches.
Edit: Just adding that I feel really good post lift. Hope this trend continues.Last edited by almostgone; 05-20-2015 at 05:22 AM.

Good lifts seem to be mental for me...I have to get in that mindset of aggression before i get there and maintain it through the entire workout. The wife pissed me off something fierce today... too bad it was only cardio day but it was mostly sprints to let the anger out and come home a happy man... or just to tired to give a shit.
And My arms love those higher rep ranges too AG. I know pump isn't an indicator of growth but damn it sure feels satisfying

Yes sir, it is satisfying as hell. Absolutely love it. My back, legs, and shoulders (to a lesser degree) love the low rep ranges, but my biceps seem to like the slightly higher rep range for now. I'll drop back down to the lower end of the rep range in a month or two.
A good friend advised me to try filling up the arms with blood and then stretching them, so I'm giving my best. I knew it was going to be a good lift when I got to about the 7th rep of the first w/u / feel set. I was really focusing on the contraction and started getting a nice searing burn in my biceps.
My wife can be maddening at times, also. There are times I have to walk away and head for the shop to let off some steam. She means well, but occasionally it all goes horribly wrong.Last edited by almostgone; 05-20-2015 at 07:05 AM.

Went in for legs and bi's today, have to split my arms up and add them to other workouts since I am off to Cali on Friday. Worked a 12h shift yesterday aand was dead tired this morning, but went in and gave it a go.
Stand calf: 1warm, 2 feel, 1 working.
Extensions: 1 warm, 1 feel, 2 working 1 drop.
Stiff deads: 2 working. Can't do many sets with my bad knee.
Press: 2 feel, 1 working. Went to 10 plates today, felt pretty good, my back was a bit sore though.
Hack squat inwards: 2 feel, 1 working.
New 21's: 2 working @95, damn these cause some pain in the muscle belly.
Preacher machine: 2 feel, 1 working 1 drop.
Not a bad session considering it was supposed to be a rest day and had a brutal work day yesterday. Another killer day today on the job, so shoulders and tri's will be fun tomorrow.
Keep killing it, the motivational reading is helping me get through these tought days.

Had a great chest session last night.
Accidentally over loaded the bar on my first set (still doing power lifting for chest). I grabbed the 35s instead of 25s. So instead of 198 i had 218. Oops! Still did it and finished my set, so I'll continue to progress.
After, i included some drop sets. pushed each set to positive failure, eventually dropped all the way to 155lbs. Failed, let the safety bars catch it. Did some half rep pin presses from there.
My chest was absolutely swollen after last night.
I'm developing stretch marks where the pecs tie into the shoulders. It kinda sucks, but at the same time is pretty cool!

Thanks AG, and yeah im looking forward to the mood swings :/ lmao
And yeah im on VACA so still cooking lol....but she loved it so it is worth the work......came out great. If no one has tried crisping your brown rice I highly suggest it....it will add a little fat to your macros (but good EVOO).....but adds different flavor and texture....
