    How many days do you all workout straight in a row???

    I only do one muscle a day. Chest day, leg day ect.... I am thinking they have plenty of time to rest and grow before I hit them again.

    How many days do you workout straight?

    2 on - 1 off - 2 on - 2 off

    That's general for me. Typically take 2 days off after leg day.

    Thanks Hazard... Yea if I workout tomorrow that will be 5 days in a row. I can tell it. Don't know what's helped me more following this thread more or starting the cycle or BOTH. I know I am sore everything. Back is tomorrow and I cant wait but my body is telling me something different. Guess ill see how I feel when I get up. I am 29 so im not to old. Feel like I can get 5 - 6 good days in maybe. LOL

    I've read through this quite a bit Marcus and I can now see your thoughts about HIT not being for everyone necessarily. I don't know exactly which excuse to use, but I'll just say I don't think I'm in the least bit in touch with that inner beast inside. Hopefully it will come as I mature a bit and actually experience some worthy life experiences. I mean... I haven't even been in a fight before let alone been in a situation where it's either do or die.

    Thanks for taking the time to respond. I'm thinking I might just need to go Fight Club mode and pick a fight somewhere regardless if I think I'll win or not.

    The most important thing you can do is to listen to your body. If you need the rest..... Let your body rest.

    I don't have a set schedule..... I used to and I'm responding better now than ever

    Yea I agree but only thing about that is I feel like crap all day and if I don't workout and feel guilty as hell.
    Feel like I really need to workout where I am on cycle 5-6 days a week.

    I know when your resting is when you body grows. Like I said i feel like crap all day if I don;t go to the gym though

    I used to be like that..... If I feel like I need rest it's because i do. In the long run.... Listening to your body pays off.

    God forbid I force myself to the gym and end up tearing a pec that day..... I'd kill myself.

    You can use an off day to do some cardio and feed your body. It doesn't have to be a waste if a day

    I'm sick as a dog.. Didn't sleep last night, worked all day and all night, have a meeting first thing in the morning, head is pounding and got out of bed to hit the store for some NyQuil so I can hopefully sleep.

    No gym today. No Bueno. Hopefully will feel better tomorrow, this sucks.

    I only train one muscle a session as well i can give it 110% this way. I usually just take a day when i need it sometimes it's one day in the wk sometimes it's two days if my body needs it i take it. There has been times i have had 3 or more days off just listen to your body and eat.

    Definitely no lifting last night. My arms are crazy sore. Think the focus on shrugs gave me a little extra stretching.

    Hang in there, Igi. Dump out the coffee pot, fill it up with chicken broth, and sip on some warm broth as often as possible through the day.
    Maybe a medicinal "beverage"when you get home.

    Rushed off my feet and mentally draining at the moment for me, very intense stuff to deal with so sorry guys I haven't been posting my workouts, but not been training again but tomorrow I will punish myself for missing 3 days again, I will push harder then ever and I will make progress, I will rip and rupture my muscle so much it will need 3 days off to just repair my CNS let alone my muscle tissue

    keep smashing it and never give up, push that last rep and failure means failure

    Back day later today. There's no way I'm doing anything heavy and bent over today as I'm still feeling it in my back from the prior brutal squat workout. Probably why I rarely deadlift anymore. Anyway, back will still get killed, just with supported back movements.

    Got some good rest in last night plus I sleep in(Dont work till the afternoon). Going to go to the gym and get some cardio in. Maybe just an incline walk for 20-30 mins, stretch and get out of there today. Let me body heal and hopefully grow some. Hope everyone has a good Friday.

    Back for me as well, I'm gonna tear into those fibers(2b) and punish myself for not having the best w/o yesterday(it was good but I was trying some things out) destruction time!
